Andrew Bordoni

As you can imagine, Andrew Bordoni was a tiny cute little baby when he was born in Ashton, GB on June 18th 1973. Then all of a sudden he was 13 with long hair, an Iron Maiden T-shirt and a GV-2 six string (Lovingly named "Piece of Crap") and of course people didn't think he was that cute anymore... Andrew formed his first band "BLAZER" that recorded a demo of 5 songs that no one bought just because of the band name.

He then formed his first full on metal band called "TOTAL ECLIPSE" that sold a few demo's thanks to the improved band name! Between age 18 and 22 he discovered that Metal wasn't the only musical style in existance and started working for one of the biggest media networks in Europe composing music for TV documentaries and jingles (including music for a Diaper Company!).

During these years he got to learn recording and producing techniques along with getting to play a multitude of different music styles and playing live with cover bands and a jazz quartet. Andrew later moved to Scotland in which he almost gave up playing guitar in favor of becoming a Pub manager and spend his free time taking advantage of the employee beer discount until he landed a gig to join the metal band Arte Nova as session live rhythm guitarist touring for 3 months around Europe opening for Napalm Death. This experience almost killed him...in a good way :-) His love for rock and metal was reborn.

He then later moved to the United States, got married, had a baby (well his wife did, with his input), recorded worldwide selling albums and opened his own music school and music store BEYOND MUSIC that has been extremely successful and features the best guitar students a guitar teacher could ever ask for... A new instrumental album has been recorded inspired by the greatest guitarists of all time which include Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kee Marcello and more...
