Hi my names Annette and I've been playing the guitar since I was 11 years old. Being left handed was a bit of a challenge when it come to finding the right guitar for me. Dean by far has the best quality guitars for a "south paw" to choose from. Unlike other guitar makers who throw generic designs together for their line of leftys, Dean cares about the quality of their guitars wether they're for right-handed players or leftys like me. My name is Chris Jones, I'm 37 years old and I'm from Dayton Oh. I started playing guitar when I was 16, but moved to the bass at the age of 18 after seeing Cliff Burton w/Metallica on the "Master of Puppets" tour. I was so blown away by his sound & stage presence that I immediately knew that is what I wanted to play for the rest of my life. I played in a few hardcore and punk bands in the mid to late 80's, then I co-founded a record label 6 years ago called Friendly Psychics music. My name is Damian West. I have been playing many years, and have been in many bands. I have recently formed my own band with an old friend and two guys who are real keen and great players, and I am really enjoying playing my rock and roll for the first time in years. The band is called Sons Of Survival and we are currently recording our first Album for my label (see below). I am very lucky to own 3 Dean USA guitars. I had always wanted a Dean Baby, ever since I saw Dimebag Darrell play his dean back in the day with Pantera (about '88 or '89). Later I became a big fan of Kansas and knew I had to have one of these guitars. I had always been a Les Paul custom user (for years) and had said many times, hey..'theres nothing to touch a Gibbo'....but man alive there is, and with the possible exception of my '59, when I got my first 2 Deans this year; time-capsuals - a 'V' Quilt Top Satin Hardware and a Electric Blue Burst ML (No. 5 of 25) I realised these were the guitars I had been waiting for all my life. So I sold my Les Pauls (A '68 Custom Authentic, A '57 Reissue BB, and A '58 Reissue) And I have now just bought a stunning 'Z' Brazilia Burst. I am blown away by these guitars, and you will be able to hear at least the 'V' and the 'Z' on my record!

original rock band called The Fresh Drum Fingers. I play my Dean 99 out of 100 gigs. Sustain.. Sustain... Sustain.. There are bass's that sell for twice what my Hammer Edge 5 costs that aren't half as good. If you are looking for a bright yet beefy tone, you can't buy a better bass for under a grand. And its solid as a rock.... about 6 months ago, my strap locks went on strike during a gig.. Every time I took my hands off the fret board, my Dean fell to the hardwood stage with an obnoxious crash. Despite being loud and embarrasing, I had no other consequence.. I didn't even have to adjust the neck... Its a tank and sounds blissful..

Every time I pick up my dean edge 4 bass guitar the only thing a can say is "wow"!
This instrument is as close to perfect as any other bass I've played ...and that's A lot of basses. Every Dean instrument I've seen has been beautiful! I wouldn't give this away for any fender Yamaha or PRS bass! THANK YOU SO MUCH DEAN YOU KICK ASS!

I picked up this bass on impulse when the electronics in my Hartke AK-5 went south. I have to be honest, the Hartke was my back-up and I was taking it to the shop to have EMG pick-ups installed, when I spot this lovely little piece sitting there with the exact pick-ups smiling at me! I played it once, immediately traded in the most treasured instrument I own, and walked out of the store smiling! (I played my first gig ever with the Hartke). Not two days later, this beautiful, wonderful, bad-ass instrument took over the starting position over my Ernie Ball !! I can't believe how well this bass plays and articulates! I own instruments the cost me literally THREE TIMES the retail price of this beauty! I'm am now forever a Dean fan, and I will seriously be considering purchasing another in the near future!

about 4 months, I got the whole set up around Christmas
04 but lost interest, I broke my caller bone a while
later....
well 4 months ago, all I had to do was play guitar, and
that i did, its probably the most enjoyable thing ever,
my guitar however is very old, yet it still sounds great,
i love playing on it, and im starting up a band already,
im lead... my guitar started in the hands of someone
who i do not know apparently famous or well known, my
dad bought it of him or her, he was a bass player but
he played guitar to, he unfortunately passed away when
I was one year old, and the guitar remained dormant for
a long time. until Christmas 2004 were i told my cousin
I had a bass with no strings(i knew nothing at the time)
has told me it was a guitar and he went and got strings
it for me and gave me his old amp. and that’s my
guitar story.

My
name is Travis. I've had my VX for almost a year now and
I cannot put into words how much I love my guitar. I used
to want to play Gibson only. The biggest thing in my eyes
was a '67 Gibson V and everytime I played one it felt right...until
I got my Dean. I had to have a V but obviously I couldn't
afford the gibson yet so at the recommendation of my friend
I looked up Dean. I read up on the VX, checked the price
and then went and ordered it from the shop in the town I
was livin at. Didn't even play it just plunked down the cash
and ordered and it was the smartest thing I've ever done.
I got the beauty, took it out of the box strumed a few chords,
ran my hand up and down the fret board and it just felt right.
It played better than the Gibson. This blew me away because
I'd always thought Gibson was the pinnacle, but I discovered
that Dean is on its way to dethroning Gibson.
My axe
serves me well and I finally joined a band in September.
I joined the band Mindsize (http://www.myspace.com/mindsize)
and I hope to be rockin out with them for a good while.
My V serves me well and I fully plan on buying a trans
cherry sunburst 79 V as soon as I can. Now if I can just
get the money for that Genz Benz.

Hey, I'm Trey, a seventeen
year old classical and progressive metal guitarist (weird combo.)
I currently own seven guitars, my most recently purchased one
being a VERY nice Dean Cadillac Select Tiger's Eye. Since buying
the guitar I've played several high end guitars (A Gibson Custom
Gold Top Les Paul, Steve Vai's JEM, ect.) and found myself
actually disappointed that they weren't nearly as nice on playability
or tone as my guitar.
Dean makes QUALITY guitars for un-ridiculous prices, and
for that, I love them! ;D. The more Dean guitars I play the
more I enjoy them, and I already have about three more lined
up that I'd really like to buy soon - all Deans.
I'll
be a Dean customer for the rest of my life. I'm in two bands
right now and all of my band mates love my Cadillac, now
that I've found the best guitar manufacturer out there I
know where to turn for the rest of my MANY guitar needs! And
thank you for your Michael Angelo Batio clinics, all of you
have done a GREAT job at letting fans experiance his AMAZING

Avalanche - It's really flexible with its single, single,
Hum. configuration - works great for classic rock and blues. Looks awesome,
plays better than my fender (and the cord plugs where it should!!!). Grover
tuners are solid. Pickups are really good! Dont change a thing!

edge q4 with bartolini pickups (in tiger's eye) - what can
i say - it looks awesome - the sound blows my mind , i love
it cant wait to see if you bring out 5 and 6 string models
with a fretless option - id love one of those too, and maybe
introduce more colors for it (although i think tiger's eye
is the best finish available in the world) as it may help
boost interest in an already fantastic range cheers the dean

WA to Amarillo TX this past summer, and I played it at many
cool sites (Grand Canyon, Continental Divide, Ice Caves ,

I am in a band called CREWMAN NUMBER SIX, from Hoboken, NJ,
and I have been playing guitar for 20+ years. My DEAN 79 Z
was a birthday gift from some my friends and band mates. The
DEANs look great, and they are much more affordable than a
Gibson, but we had no idea what it would play and/or sound
like. When I received it, I was very pleasantly surprised at
how smooth and easy it was to play, and even with the stock
pickups, it sounded great! I got it via mail order, and when
I took it out of the box and plugged it in, it was almost perfectly
in tune (it was sent from DEAN to me in NJ). Very cool. When
I play my Les Pauls, I constantly have tune and retune them.
With the DEAN, I tune it once, and I'm good for an entire set.
I am a DEAN man now. Keep up the great work!

My Edge Hammer
5 is the best playing, best sounding, and most beautiful
instrument I've ever owned. I chose it
for price over a stingray 5. Now, I'm constantly
getting complements on my incredible tone and its distinctive

I would not pick up another brand guitar for nothing . I have been playing Deans
for over 15 years.
The sound the craftsmanship is just outstanding .
I am stuck in this wonderfull state ky which is fender
hell . Fender guitars make good baseball bats lol. So if
you dont have a dean you need to get one you will love
them . I bet you just cant owen one Dean .

Hey
my names Matt Metcalfe, been playing for five years, as u can
tell i play a DEAN ML XT. I will soon buy an acoustic from Dean.
My band is myself, names Music Of M, i have a low budget album
which has been given to two people. I live in West Sussex in England.
I love my Dean and have had it for a year and a half, i love thrashing
my guitar through my marshall and causing the neighbours to complain.

I love it and I got it for like 170 if I recall, it has a great
sound and its pretty easy to play. I joined a band called RBS,

since the 80's and currently own an EVO Premium, EVO Special, and a Cadillac.
Next on my list? A Hardtail. The other guitarist in my band owns three Les

compares; as long as there are Deans, I will play them.

Until I got my hands on my Dean Rhapsody 5 all other bass guitars
were inadequate.
For any type of music I play rather it be country, rock, jazz
or blues nothing compares to my Dean Rhapsody 5.
