I got the FBD tribute guitar. Now since it's got a PITA floating
Floyd, I need to have it set up for a specific tuning. Otherwise,
the whole thing gets out of whack. I like low tuning a lot. But what did Dime use most? 1/2 step, full step or 1 1/2 step? Any help
appreciated.

Ok, I've been playing for 6 years now, and I still have developed almost no soloing skills. I just can't seem to get the speed that I want. I would like to play some of Randy's solos, some of Dime's, some of Zakk's, some of Jimmy's (both of 'em), and all that, but I have absolutely no speed. Are there any excercises out there that help to develop speed, or do I just not have what it takes to be a lead guitarist?

A while ago, I recorded a small videoexample of a lesson I did for a student on the topic of timing and note value alteration.
I also uploaded some of my other videos on google video, for easy access and download. Feel free to check this one out and give me some feedback. It starts out by just going trough the lesson example, and then going into a fullblown improvisation on the Dean Then, if that makes you wanna hear/see some more, just click "more from this user"

I am hoping someone can help me with the small piece of Metallicas Seek And Destroy I am missing. I have a Metallica tab book that has a mixture of songs from Kill Em All to And Justice. It comes with a cd also but none of em has the pre chorus tabbed. Only the Intro, Chorus and solo. Just to clear everything up it is the riff played during the lyrics "Running, on our way hiding, You will pay, Dying, One thousand deaths...." thx.....
