Donkey rules! \m/
And btw. Found a authorized Pantera comic on ebay; ended with 10 € (something about 14 bucks). 1/2 mint. But I think the seller was cheating, so the guy who bought it was the seller himself.

just thought I would post this up as I have wanted one for years - got it via trade from SDMFVan - thanks again, man!
remember either vinnie or rita or both of them saying that they were going to put out Pantera videos volume 4 and the 2nd damageplan album was going to come out.
well...where are they? it's been well over a year since that statement was made. maybe 2
I was on my local craigslist and found this http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/car/775111677.html Looks like dime's haha!
Weird Randall! kinda cool
by al on Thu Jul 31, 2008 9:39 pm
check this out. it's an RG100ES in a 4x10 combo amp configuration. never ever seen that model before!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Randall-rg100es-4-10-combo_W0QQitemZ280251210560QQihZ018QQcategoryZ10171QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The manual I read online says not to run the gain higher than 7. And there is a sticker in some pics regarding the same statement which supposedly came stock on the amp. Will it self destruct killing all immortals within the kill zone if the gain is cranked and the volume is cranked?
I don't have one but I'm so board I read the pdf manual.

Hey guys, I was wondering (wandering ? ... hmm, must return to my books) why Dime used to strap his guitars...
I know the strap on the neck is there for preventing strings making noise when palm muting, I use that trick too...
But, why neck pickups is strapped ?
I just started writing my new masterpiece. I had to put it up now even though i just wrote it 20 minutes ago.
R.I.P. Dimebag!! 333 big buddy!!!!

what dime guitar is your fav?dean or washy
mine is the southern cross i would love to have one of those.out of all his gear? what about u all?
I was reading on another forum and someone said that Dime was endorsed by Ibanez at one time in the early 80s. It was said his sig model or model of choice was the Destroyer. You have the story behind this? Is that when THE guitar (you know which one I speak of) went in your hands? I assume after he won the Dean (DFH). I only ask this because I love to read the stories man.
Dimebag didnt inspire anyone lol

Dimebag is average and not influential at all, because he's dead he gets praised, if he was so good then why did Pantera never hit the big time.
|
some guy said this on another forum, and I was just curious what you guys here would say to him, since he obviously is a frippin tool.
How many records did Pantera sell anyway?

The Little Blue Box Heard Round The World...
Well, I have mentioned a few things here and there about the MXR 6 band.
In the thread "Dimes gold pants" (good one!) I briefly covered the "You
need a Marshall man, and I picked out a good one for ya. Lets go get it."
story. When Darrell went out to the garage & came back in with the "little
blue majic box" and handed it to me and said "Here, plug this in" because
"A Marshall ain't got no gain man, so try this". Well... Here it is.
Darrells MXR 6 band that he gave to me in 1985, 'cause "You need it man.
'cause you want to play an amp that ain't got no gain. I don't need it,
'cause I play a RANDALL". The slider # is 1377727, so that makes it a 1977
model. It probably came from his dads studio. There was one of those
tan/brown distortion boxes laying around too, but we never messed with it.
It didn't sound too good.

Guitar Refinish !!!! Check it out
by Puppet on Fri Jul 25, 2008 12:42 am
Well for ages i didnt bought anything for my self.. so i decided to refinish my guitar ( just paint it) so itll look .. more interesting
I want to achieve a cool "Dime type" lightning bolt finish. but instead of plain background color, ill make dark and light blue stripes - and than make an effect so they will look.. a bit destroyed... a bit destroyed background + lightning bolts
Oh and one more thing.
This whole refinish process will be totally unprofessional, because i dont have enough $$ for a pro refinish. and i want to have my guitar all the time at a "playable" condition
So... Lets get it on !!!
Here it is... my Washburn ...
:yesway:
Budget ... about 12$
paints = 10$
brushes... 2$
bit crappy brushes but hey... 2$ ...
ok...
on to cleaning
beginning to paint
...
now the light blue ones...
I hate natural sides of the headstock ( ok.. i dont hate.. i just prefer a colored one... looks cooler for me
Now the "logo"
I decided to only paint a Dime + the washburn "things" on the headstock...
Of course they're black..
Sponge of DOOM :scream:
Stay tuned for more pics of the progress soon...
Favorite Pantera Music Video

I like Revolution is My Name.
i dont know much about music theory. what is the key of the solo in floods? also what were the harmonizer settings .. +5 +7 -5 -7 ect.
sorry for asking so many questions.. ive noticed that some of the users here dont like that..
I just got my PQ3 and I was having some trouble hooking it up in the loop. When I put it in the loop and flip the bypass/EQ in it makes a unbearable loud screech I know i must have something wrong. I am supposed to have it in the low in and low out right? Any help would be appreciated.
Randall RG80ES vs RG80-112SC
by kat on Thu Jul 24, 2008 12:43 am
This doesn't really feel like the right section for an amp question but you guys usually know your Randalls quite well.
Are the RG80ES and the RG80-112SC fairly similar? Obviously one is a head and the other is a combo. Is the Sustain-Boost switch on the 112SC the same effect as pulling the Presence knob on the ES? Any other differences?
I can't imagine......

the awesomeness we would continue to hear if Dime was still around.
location of dimebags tombstone?
Does anyone know what town and state dimebag's grave at? Me and my cousins are planning a roadtrip and i think it would be cool to visit
DUNLOP FUZZ WAH? Will it come out?
by toner on Wed Jul 23, 2008 8:52 pm
Was looking on their website, didn't see anything.
I guess I could make my own with a stereo switch DPDT (12 poles) so I have my true bypass and a true bypass effects loop in the way with a fuzz next to it so it switches on and off with the wah. Would have to be after the wah signal though unless I modded in a buffer into the wah circuit to put the fuzz signal before the wah.
I don't know how the dunlop one was designed, it's a matter of switching where the fuzz input/output wires come from, but I could make one.......
The Dimebucker is not as high output as i expected...?
by rgx612a on Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:58 am
Just tried one for the first time and this thing sounds like a slightly brighter, thinner, less output version of the L-500XL ? Dissapoints a bit.

John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Dimebag Darrell, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else?

Short Digitech question
by 56kler on Fri Jul 18, 2008 3:47 pm
Hey there!
Question; is this pedal broke?
(If you buy a new one the pedal is straight...or is there any option for moving it a bit to the side?)
Sorry, but this question/answer is very important to me.
