So, you love Dimebag Darrell?
by BBA on Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:05 am
If offered ONE question to him prior to that fateful night, what would it have been?

In all honesty, without knowledge of what has happened, mind you- Upon a face to face greeting, I would have asked, "Hey Darrell! How's it going?"

Think about this one for a second....what would you really have asked the man? Idea Question

Out of tune tunes?
by sepsis311 on Sun Jul 03, 2005 5:04 am
Something has been bothering me for a real long time. I quite can't understand the purpose of it either. What am I talking about?

Metallica "For Whom the Bell Tolls" song

This song is tuned a little higher than E, but not high enough to be F. Has anyone noticed this? The rest of Ride the Lighting is tuned normal, but not this song!

The reason i'm mentioning this is because I have my MLF tuned to C#.

I can't Jam to Pantera's far beyond driven, because Dimebag is tuned a little higher than C#, but not quite D. It's somewhere in the middle.

Is there a reason for any of this? Any reason at all? I would LOVE to know.

PANTERA P.S.T '88 lyrics?!?
by Pablo Gilberto on Mon Jul 04, 2005 12:53 pm
Hey guys, what are the lyrics of that song? The only thing you find is this:

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE !!!!!
The words to this song
Are invisible and therefore
Unable to be printed
When the "Beast of PANTERA"
Runs loose words as such
Do not EXIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So whatever sounds you
Interpret as words
Are strickly up to you
Remember...YOU ARE IN CONTROL !!!!!
Diamond Darrell and
The boys have created
This flashback just
For all you girls and
Major Praty Animals
'Cuzwenowhatchulike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soooo crank it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen at your own RISK !!!!!!!!!!!!!
And PARTY DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S.
Some sounds got on the
Tape backwards
We don't know how or why
But we also DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PARTYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Dime is obviously singing something. I'm German and hardly understand anything he sings, so could someone of you write out the lyrics for me?

Thanx Christoph

something strange just was sent to me
by j.arledge on Tue Jul 05, 2005 6:33 pm
DEAR JORDAN,

My name is Mr. Ishmeel Dave, a merchant in Malasia, and a
very close friend/patron to late Darrell Dimebag Abbott.
My friend, was the only friend of mine that
always deliver some composed poems to me to the hospital
where I have been admitted for cancer for years now and
because of that relationship between us,
I appointed my late friend to carry on with
my charity program but death intervened. I know
that my life is in the hands of God. Despite all
this long years of my sickness, I have hoped that
he will get well soon to take care of my endeavors
but rather death took him away before me. Because of
that friendship between us , I decided to love any
of his confidants because birds of feathers flock
together and that’s why I decided to write to you.
As a friend and confidant to my late friend,
I seek you to comply with me because I
have been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer
which was discovered very late, due to my laxity in
carrying for my health. It has defiled all forms of
medicine, and right now I have only about a few
months to live, according to medical experts.
I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I
never really cared for anyone not even myself but my
business. Though I am very rich, I was never
generous, I was always hostile to people and only
focus on my business as that was the only thing I
cared for. But now that my friend is late,
I regret all this as I now know that there is more
to life than just wanting to have or make all the money
in the world.
I believe when God gives me a second chance to come
to this world, I would live my life a different way
from how I have lived before I.
I have willed and given most of my properties
and assets to my immediate and extended family
members and as well as a few close friends.
I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul
and so, I have decided to give help to charity
organizations, as I want this to be one of the last
good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed
money to some charity organizations in poland,Bulgaria
Algeria and Malaysia as well and I have not patronized any charity
organization in USA and Canada because I do not have
any one to represent me disburse my donations to them.
This is because my late friends was the person who
made plans to do that for me but death took away.
Now that my health has deteriorated so badly,
I cannot do this my self anymore.
I once asked members of my family to close one
of my accounts and distribute the money which I have
there to charity organization in Bulgaria and
Poland, they refused and kept the money to
themselves despite all I have done for them.
Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as
they seem not to be contented with what I have left
for them and that was why I involved my late friend
because he was a trustworthy person.
The last of my money which no one knows of is the
huge cash deposit of sixtheen million USA dollars
that I have with a Finance security company in Amsterdam
Holland for charity purposes.
Now that my friend is late, I want you to help
me collect this deposit and
dispatch it to charity organizations.
I have set aside 20% for your time and
patience and I wait for your urgent responds for my goodwill charity.
Remain blessed and happy
Mr. ***************(blocked the name)

What do all of you make of this, do you think i should reply?
Dime tribute song
by dimebucker on Wed Jul 06, 2005 12:55 am
I don't know if any of you read this but, Head(former guitarist from Korn) is putting out a new album with an instrumental on it dedicated to Dime. I think it is called A Letter To Dime. Dime use to tell the guys from Korn to do solos but they didn't ,so I think this should be Pretty cool. However I did hear the rest of the album doesn't really have any guitar on it Sad
roots of the name...
by Schizo on Wed Jul 06, 2005 7:39 pm
Does someone know the history of giving name 'Pantera' to the group? It sounds like 'panther' in russian. Also there were german tanks with the same name 'pantera' during 2nd world war. I suppose guys borrowed the name from these powerful machines to characterize their music Cool.
Your thoughts on it.

Dime Tribute Idea
by footis on Fri Jul 08, 2005 2:30 am
Tell me what you guys think of this idea. I think it would be kick ass if the remaining members of Damageplan got together and recorded a tribute song or a couple for Dime and put them on the next Damageplan CD that is supposed to come out, and have Zakk Wylde play guitar on them. I think that would be HUGE!!!!
Warhead X2 or Century 200
by slaytanic on Fri Jul 08, 2005 8:39 pm
I myself have not tried a century 200, so to those of you that have and have also played through a X2, which do you think is better? I would imagine that you have to beef up the Century 200, but is the distortion any better sounding than the X2. And yes I have heard VDOP and FBD but thats Dime sound. Anyonoe?

COWBOYS FROM HELL
by Mingeeta on Sat Jul 09, 2005 11:32 am
Here's me and my drummer playing Cowyboys from Hell, with Cat Scratch Fever in the middle, just like Live 101. The timing may be funny in some places, thats because the drum track was recorded first as I wasn't there to play the guitar. But I've gone over it with the bass, guitar and lead. Hope you all like! (By the way, we're only fourteen so expect nothing special)

I just received my Randall RH100G2 amp. I must say im pretty impressed with it. It has tons of distortion, and the clean channel is pretty much fenderish, which I like alot.
I got it pretty cheap, only $600 for the amp and 4x12 Randall cabinett and it is brand new.
I recomend it. 5+

its a must have for 3 bucks. dime shows you up close and personal how to play the lead to walk and pride solos, also shows his pedals and he said something about a prototype that was suppose to be made through mxr, basically its a wah plus the jimi hendrix fuzz or something in one unit.
sounded really cool. the dvd is probably 30 minutes and was filmed for young guitar magazine in japan.

by Decipher on Fri Jul 15, 2005 5:54 pm
New to the board BTW. This is my first Dean and I love it. I got it two days ago at Music Center Canada up here in Calgary, Alberta. The Dime O'Flame is incredible!! Great sound and sustain. The neck is so smooth and fast. I'm also really enjoying the Dimebucker in it as well. I've been an EMG man for years and I think I'll be trading those back in!! My only complaint is the graphic is kinda grainy! It's just a "scan-on" from the original. You can see the beads of colour up close, but it still looks awesome. Came with the electrical tape on the pickups(Very cool), and the "traction knobs" are uncanny!! They really are a great idea!! After I slapped some DR's and tuned 'r to B, life is awesome!! Just awaiting arival on my Ravorback Rust now!!

How many would be interested in a Dean Dimeslime ML
by DeanSlime396 on Fri Jul 15, 2005 7:43 pm
Hello Folks,

Dimebag Fans, ML(F) Lovers and Guitar Afficianados alike. This may just be your chance to own a Non-Washburn Dimeslime from Dean Guitars, it all comes down to how SERIOUS you are!

We know that "Dimebag Joe" had his Silverburst ML run, and BTMN is having his Korina Z with Soap Bars run............Here is our chance!

I am suggesting that we have Dean do a run of Dimeslime MLF's but of course it takes your SUPPORT!

Specs would be of course as you all know and love! Slime Green MLF with Black Hardware, Black Binding, 59 Neck Pup (w/ Tape), Dimebucker Bridge Pup, Speed Knobs and Floyded of Course! I would also like to ask the possibility of a Matching Headstock with a Black Dean Logo but all of this would be subject to any Final Approvals of the Fine People that create the Guitars that we LOVE!

Please Post here ALL who would be interested and then we can take it a step further................or you can PM me! I think all we need is 13 Guitars and I have 2 for sure! Let's make this one ROCK for us and Dean Guitars.

If this becomes a reality Tim (harley) @ Centerstage has confirmed that he will handle this request for us.

So what do ya say Brothas?

A Dimeslime Dean for Dime!

Getcha Pull!!!

My dime Tribute wall
by RandyLives on Sun Jul 17, 2005 1:56 pm
My wife and I are working on a wall in my office as a Tribute to my Hero's, check it out

Image

the left is my Grandfathers 1957 Gretsch, to the Left if that (which you cant see) is a checkered flag he won in 1959 (he died in 1964)

the Middle (which is my 7 string Ibanez) will eventually be a mock version of Karl Sandovals Polka dot Flying V for Randy Rhoads (I emailed Sandoval to try and buy a replica from him, but he was sort of a Dick about and said he wasn't into selling show pieces?!?!?), to the left is a pic of Randy and Kevin Dubrow I got from Joy's(Randys fiance) mom when I luckily did some work at her house back in 1996, also a gold record from the Ozzy site of Crazy train

We are thinking about painting the Dean (to the right) to match the dean from hell and to the left of it (in place of the Drive picture) will be the Pic below, framed with the memorial braclet and some picks I caught a a Pantera show in 2000.

What do you guys think??
Should we paint the Dean or just leave it Black to match the Picture let me know?
Hi-Voltage.....
by Decipher on Sun Jul 17, 2005 6:37 pm
Has anyone tried those DR Hi-Voltage Dime Sig strings?? Are they any brighter than the reg Hi-Beam's? I'm a die hard DR guy(as is my bass player) but I have not the resources to get my hands on a pair of those Hi-Voltage. Just curious how they sound....... if it's even worth ordering. John(bassist) and I have to make Dr orders up here in Calgary for ourselves because for some reason distributers are becoming hard to find. We have to go through Long & McQuade up here, but still have to order them. So if I were to consider them, I'd like to hear some opinions on them....... min. order is like 5 sets. If I'm just paying for the name, it ain't worth it.

I have spoken with the Randall rep up here many 'a times and our latestest move is e-mailing distributors and retailers in the USA. No word yet but got my fingers crossed. I lost the bid on the last one on Ebay!! Mad

If you've seen one in a store(limited to USA) I would greatly appreciate the contact info for them so I can get 'r.

I really regeret not getting it when I ordered my half stack..... just didn't have the cash then. Can find the 4x12 no prob. But not the 2x15.

Former DAMAGEPLAN Frontman To Launch 'Heavy' And' Very Melodic' New Project -

Former DAMAGEPLAN vocalist Patrick Lachman (ex-HALFORD, DIESEL MACHINE) is preparing to launch a new project in the coming weeks, BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal. The as-yet-unnamed band is rumored to involve notable San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles musicians. Lachman describes the material as, "heavy but also very melodic, with the focus being on good songwriting. It's a definite left turn and I think it's going to surprise a lot of people." The group have reportedly written and recorded nearly 20 songs and are preparing to shop for a major label record deal. Plans to launch an official web site are underway as well. More information will be made available soon.

Whats the real story with Krank
by foxguitar on Tue Jul 19, 2005 12:22 pm
without all the Dramatics , Whats up with this Krankenstein , Is it smash or trash , me personally havent heard it yet , im dying to , Ive heard its the mother of all amps and ive heard its a dawg,
could please can someone who actually used the fugger please give us the straight skinny , are they any good or just some POS.
Im serious, we are all looking for the holy grail of tone, Currently I play a Marshall DSL 100 great amp, but Im seriously curious about this Krank without all the jive , Is it a good amp is it worth the 1600 plus tag , I know alot of metal bands are using it , is a one trick pony , how is the lead tone , cmon theres got to be someone out there who either owns it or played it more than once
thanx

Dime & Megadeth
by New Breed on Wed Jul 20, 2005 12:12 am
I was just watching a megadeth live dvd and remembered the story about dime turning down the offer to be lead guitarist to stay with vinny, obviously im glad he did because there may have not been a pantera as we know it and also megadeth still kick ass anyway, but can you imagine what megadeth would have been like with dime as the lead guitarist, it would have been amazing! just wondering what you guys thought about this, if dime had gone to megadeth i dont reckon they would have changed their guitarist as much!
Did any you guys see the last BLS tour and see Nick Bowcott
by foxguitar on Wed Jul 20, 2005 11:23 pm

Floods
by Mingeeta on Thu Jul 21, 2005 6:25 pm
I got a request to play this about a week ago. Along with: a new level, shattered, 5 mins alone and I'm broken. But just floods for now.
I don't think I played the solo very well, but it's mainly the outro I'm pleased with, I got the effect near enough to how it's supposed to sound.

quick question about dime's neck pickup.
by drlillen on Thu Jul 21, 2005 10:17 pm
I was just wondering if anyone knew why dime put those pieces of electrical tape over the edges of his neck pickup.

I saw that the new dime guitars come with little plastic pieces over them.

is this just fashion? or is it a tone thing.
Which pedal you guys like better the Dime CFH Wah or the Zak
by foxguitar on Fri Jul 22, 2005 1:08 am
Which Wah do you metalheds like better , I currently have a fulltone clyde deluxe ,its pretty cool , but Ive been thinking ( smell the wood lol) about copping one of the above ,
I play mostly gibsons Les Pauls and of course my new Dean Schenker V thru a Koch Powertone II or Marshall DSL 100,
Im just curious for input any input is appreciated

101 proof
by marker on Fri Jul 22, 2005 1:22 am
Just was listening to 101 proof for the first time in a very long while. Man, I am amazed at how close dimes tone comes to the studio records. I don't know what amps he was using for the recording, {Randalls, but which model?} but his tone was as brutal as on the produced lp's. When they go into the end of by demons be driven it is sick how tight they are. Twisted Evil Smile
Does anyone have.......?
by DREAD PIRATE REDBEARD on Fri Jul 22, 2005 4:45 am
I've seen a picture in someones avatar of Dime playing with a broken headstock dangling in the air. Does anyone have a good version of that pic or know whose avatar that is. I think its probably my favorite pic of Dime and I would love to have it.

Thanks,
Alex

Question about neck pickups
by LongLiveDime on Sat Jul 23, 2005 2:36 am
I have a Dimebolt 333, which is fine right now because I havn't been playing too long, but at least I beefed it up with Dimebucker and a 59 in the neck. I was just wondering though, what other neck pickups are worth a look? I have heard some things about Dimarzio, can anyone offer any insight into these pups?

My experience with Dime
by Panties on Sat Jul 23, 2005 6:28 pm
I wrote this last June, right after a Slayer and Damageplan concert.

Quote:
That was a frippin AWESOME show. I saw them last tuesday and I'm only getting around to writing about it now, due to my inability to move my neck and talk. Sucks, eh? Anyway, here goes.

After our French exam, Me, Mike, Jon and Stephane walked to the store and bought our beer (to those non-Quebec residents, all of our corner stores have walk-in beer freezers) and then waited for the bus. Me and Mike gypped the bus driver with $1.80 in change instead of the $6.60 it would have cost us to ride. Heheh. So we went on our merry way to the Metro station, where the people never cease to amaze you with their freaskish looks. Heheh. Weird people, man.

So after we got off the metro in Downtown Montreal, we made the short trek to the Metropolis, where we would later witness the greatness that is Dimebag. We got bored so we went to the back to look at the tour buses and drink our beer. So we sat on the curb till out of nowhere, Vinnie Paul walks out of a frippin Toyota and starts signing autographs! So I got him to sign my ticket to the show and I got a handshake and stuff, so that was pretty damn cool.

Then, we proceeded to wait for Dimebag outside the bus. There were about 10 other people with us and we made conversation. We met a chick who had her twat shaved at the Steve-O riot and that was pretty funny. She gave me a sip of her Jack Daniel's - that made me happy too. We waited about 4 hours for Dimebag to Finally come out of the bus. I was the FIRST one to get something signed by him, so that made me feel really proud. (Not bad for my first concert, eh?) He told us to get inside because they were starting soon, so that's what we did. We walked through the front and went inside.

Because the show hadn't started yet, it was fairly easy to get up to the front. All of the sudden, the speakers went double-bass drum crazy as Vinnie had just sat at the throne. A wild cheer started as Dimebag strutted across the stage. Then, Pat came out and started a song, which got the crowd going. About midway through Damageplan's set, I was able to fight my way through the mosh pit all the way tp the barricade, and from then on, I took it easy and took everything that came at me. Beer, Punches and Blistering guitar solos. It was GREAT.

As some of you probably don't know, Damageplan always play Pantera songs in their sets. They played "Walk" and "A New Level" for us, and the crowd went frippin WILD. They finished with "A New Level", threw us beer and told us about how Slayer were the only band to give them a chance to tour with them. Great guys, man.

Slayer's road crew started taking all of Damageplan's stuff off the stage and then set up all of Slayer's junk. Then Slayer came on and the crowd went wild, yet again. I hate to admit it, but Slayer sound like noise live. You can't hear anything; and that sucks, because I really like Slayer. I guess the Slayer fans disagreed because I could hear them singing along to EVERY word. They played 22 songs, and I have to say I was bored the whole time. They played songs I like, like "Jesus Saves", "Angel of Death" and "Raining Blood", but that's about it. Kerry King's solos sounded pretty gnarly, though, but they were nothing like Dime's.

At the end of the show, Dime threw a Pantera shirt off the stage and I got it Very Happy. That made me feel really good. It's a little small, but I don't care. DIME frackin' TOUCHED it, man. Anyway. Cool.

So then I wait half a year for December to roll around, and Damageplan are headlinging a show with The Haunted and Shadows Fall.

The Haunted kicked ass. I got to the show a bit late, but their set that I saw was awesome. I bought their rEVOLVEr CD while I was there and then went into the pit and immediately went to the right, where Dime would be standing in about 5 minutes.

After ANOTHER insane Damageplan concert, Dime kicked into "Becoming". This comepletely kicked my ass up and down. I beat the hell out of tons of people in the pit and had a good time. Then they played "A New Level" and then "Walk". We were the only show that Damageplan ever played three Pantera songs for and I'm really proud of that.

Shadows Fall set was alright. I had never heard their music before, though. So I couldn't really get into it.

So after the show, we went outside the venue and Brian Fair (SF's singer) was just standing outside the bus. We talked with him for a bit and I got him to sign my ticket. He had to go in the bus to chill with the rest of the band so he left us hangin.

We walked to the busses and Kat (Pantera and DP's main roadie) was waiting for the Damageplan gear bus to come around the corner. We talked with him for like half an hour and he got us in the Damageplan bus to hang with Dime!!!

We all drank Black Tooths with Dime and he recognized the shirt I was wearing (the one he threw offstage in June) and said that was frackin' cool... and he offered us free backstage passes to the next show. We refused like the little dumbasses we are becaUse we had school. We took another black tooth with Dime and then we went home.

6 days later, he was murdered. I really wish I went to that frippin show with him...
ANOTHER DIME STORY
by \.../_METAL_\.../ on Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:45 pm
Okay, one day I was surfing music 123 and saw the banner that said win a Washburn ML signed by Dimebag. I took a look at the guitar and thought that it was retarded (I was really into the Jackson Warrior shape at the time). I read the little thing about the guitar and everything and it said Dime signed a bunch of these guitars before he died. The next day I go to school and my friend say, "hey did you here about that shooting yesterday?" I said no and asked him what happened he just said a band got shot up and I didn't know much about Damagplan or Pantera at the time (I'm a huge fan now). So I checked the shooting out on MSN video and saw it was Dime and everything. The weird thing is that I saw the banner saying he was dead, the day before he died and the day i found out he died, I reread the contest thing and it didn't say anything about him dying. That's the story believe it or not, got my heart going. Maybe it was a sign or something, because that night I got my first real guitar.
Dimebucker
by -CFH-4life on Sun Jul 24, 2005 5:25 am
Ok,today i got my first dean, a DBD Tribute. This thing is amazing, best guitar I've ever played. Well I replaced the dean bridge pickup with a Dimebucker, and when I plugged up to try it out,it sounded clean, like it was on the clean channel, but when I flipped the switch to the neck pickup, it sounded real crunchy. Right now,the wire with no plastic cover and the white wire are connected to the pot, that is what its called, right? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading. I'll get pics of it when I fix it.

good picture of logo needed.
by DiezelMonster on Mon Jul 25, 2005 5:06 am
Hey guys

I know this is a Dean forum and such, but this is perhaps the best and only place I can post this question.

I'm looking for a good shot of the washburn logo used on the Dimebag guitars. I'm getting my Stealth repainted with a tribute and I want to have a special chrome washburn logo made up, but when I photocopy the headstock it doesn't turn out, same with scanning.

there is a really good pic from a magazine ad, but I don't have this ad!

if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Once again, I apologize to Dean, and Elliott, and "webguy" Pete for posting this here, but this is my only option as the washburn board stinks!

thanks guys!

Cheers!

I know there were a bunch of pics posted from the Winter Namm show back in January, but figured I would share a few more. This has to be one of the most famous guitars in Heavy Metal history...
Here's a few up close pics of it from the Dean booth at Summer Namm.

by schwenny69 on Wed Jul 27, 2005 10:24 pm
why?

i just don't get it... i'm kinda dissapointed...

i was hoping they would unveil a new razorback or a KKV razorback... maybe a new Dime ML... something cool atleast...

i just can't picture a grown man playing that... if Deans trying to make a guitar to appeal to kids i don't think their are many kid metalheads these days...

i dunno, maybe its cooler in person... did anyone see it in person and take pics?
gettin stuff off my chest.
by HEMICUDA on Thu Jul 28, 2005 4:36 am
Ive loved guitars ever since I was a little boy. My moms photo albums have all kinds of pics of me from about the age of four on up playing air guitar on anything that resembled one. On dec, 8 of 04 I was in Columbus Ohio from where I live near Dayton visiting my sister to do some work for her. Due to reasons out of my control I had know idea Damageplan was in town. When she woke me the next morning with the news I was floored. Little did I know I was only fifteen minutes away from the alrosa. That night I bought flowers and went down to pay my respct to my hero and to the other victims of that horrible, horrible night. Now its 7-28-05 and im back in Columbus at my sisters for the first time since dec.. Ironicly enough I just picked up my dean FBD ml a day before I came. and yes its here with me. For a while I kept going back and forth about wishing I was there that night, but im glad I wasnt and I feel for any one who had to witness it. Ive talked to alot of people who just dont understand and realize what an impact this had on Dimes true fans but as most of you already know, his shoes will never be filled! I will cherish the times I seen him in Dayton Ohio forever. It was treuly inspiring. I want to thank everyone that makes this forum possible. For some of us this is kinda like therapy. Dime was my hero, I will miss him allways! and to those of you who understand, thanks for letting me get stuff off my chest.

refretting
by marker on Fri Jul 29, 2005 4:05 am
Has anyone refretted their guitar and had any luck? I want to install jumbo frets on my axe. Can anyone give some pointers or point me to a book or video that explains all of the important stuff. I know that refretting is a major undertaking and I know the risks of jacking up the fretboard. Can anyone recommed a shop that does good refretting and how much do they charge for a refret and what is the turnover time? Just curious cuz I have had my dean for over 10 years and the frets are really starting to need to be dressed and I would rather install the jumbo's Thanks for any help guys. Smile

guitar dent urgency ! please help my baby please!!!
by dimebagdarrelisgod on Sun Jul 31, 2005 6:49 pm
Hi folks, i had a fucckking disaster last night i got a dent in my guitar by having too many things to do at once and getting some picking practice whilst taking care of certain pc chores and THEN trying to answer the phone while my brother bursts into the room and fuccking WHAMMO with the corner of the door right into my guitar which WAS in prisitine condition, what a nightmare i am tottally gutted this feels like a bad dream. But no the dent has been here all day long too.

Please all you experienced guitar buffs, can you please tell me this can be repaired ? I mean so its unnoticable ?
The dent is in the wood its an actual wood past the paint, which is sitting in the dent all cracked, its basically a longish groove made by the corner of the door perfectly placing itself like a parasite INTO my guitar.

I appreciate ANY help whatsoever, the faster the better so i can stop being depressed and be happy to know my guitar will once again be perfect.

Also what gets me is, if guitar pro repairmen do actually do this kinda thing for a living, how do they get the new paint ? Do they stock all kinds or do they mix up a few to get the nearest colour and dab a bit on ??

Thanks again !
