i played it yesterday, a little over a grand, made in china. flawless guitar it would just need to be set up to my liking. felt really good also, body a little arkward but i'm just not used to the shape. also pretty comfortable to sit with.

Anyone here use ADA Mp-1 if yes, can anyone give me a good patch to dime tone.

If you don't use ADA MP-1 can at least give me some help in the Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence settings?
I know dimes have a heavy bass sound and a scooped mid sound but when I here musics like CFH, Domination, Walk, New Level etc etc they don't have that REALY SCOOPED "DEATH METAL" sound?!
Oh and another little thing Dime used more Treble or more Presence?

In ADA MP-1: Bass center at 180Hz, Mid center at 600Hz, Treb center at 1.6kHz, Presence center at 3kHz
Just to give you and idea, I also have a Behringer EQ700 Equalizer

So since my Razorback arrived I've obviously been having a go at doing some of Dime's signature harmonic squeals (since I've not had a guitar with a floating bridge before).

I've been looking around the fret-board for harmonics on the G string (I assume this is the main string that's used - has dime used any others?) and I've got harmonics on the 5th, 7th, 9th (same as 4th), 12th and 17th.

I'm sure there are others I'm missing, but I can't seem to pull them off.

More specifically, harmonic squeal on the 2nd fret, G string. I know the harmonic's there as I've had it before when playing Heresy (admittedly on a different string).

Any tips for pulling them off a bit more slickly, and on the more - shall we say - obscure frets?

I have an rg80es white , and it sounds like it doesn't have dime gain. I also have mxr 6band eq, b&b l-500xl. What kinda mods are available? Sounds nice, bur harmonics don't have enough gain.
Aslo tried dimarzio evolutions whish rip in the harmonixs dept, same result. Marker???

I want to get a tattoo with Dimebag's signature like it appears on his products he endorses. Does anyone have a good size pic of it? I know his sig is on the DR strings and the Warhead amps and such, but I cannot seem to find a good pic.

A friend of mine stopped by the party patio at my house this weekend, and dropped off a magazine for me to browse through, I didn't give it much thought because I already have a boat, but yesterday morning while drinking my coffee, I started to flip through the pages and on about the 10th page in I noticed a boat advertisement for a PANTERA II. Hey people how's it going. I'm James.

Been intrigued by Dean for quite a while (thanks to Dime if I'm being honest) and decided to give them a spin.

I've been using Custom Shop ESP mostly of late and I hope the guitar I ordered today is up to par with it

I contacted our distributor (I work for a guitar shop) and he managed to source a new USA DFH for me

I'll make sure to post pics and a comparison review of the Dean vs the ESP when it arrives.

Alright, so after a little more than an hour with the search button, I have some questions that I was hoping some of you guys can answer.

I read that the Warhead and the Cyclone are similarly voiced, which I alread new, but I also read that The Titan is similarly voiced to the X2. Can someone please clear this up for me?

Also does anyone have any experience with either that would tell me what they think of them. I'm not going to take your word for it, but I'd like an opinion. I can't find one near me to try out, since they are discontinued.

For anyone that's tried the vintage and newer MXR 6 band EQ pedals; are the vintage blue MXR 6 bands really alot better than the new ones? Or is it just a bunch of BS?

I'm no Dime sheep. Cowboys from Hell is the album that got me listening to the music I do today. It's what got me interested in playing my guitar and recording and producing sound. I hope to make all three of those my careers in the future. I plan on going to a prestigious recording arts school so I can live my dream. It's also in tribute to the man that inspires me so much, but not completely dedicated to him.

Ok, I am getting sick of this "loose" whammy bar
feeling everytime I use it. I had to tighten the
nut on the tremolo twice since I bought the guitar
almost a year ago. I used teflon tape on the threads
of the whammy bar, still no good. The bar has play
in it. Does anyone know where the website is
for that upgraded tremolo bar? Left handed, BTW.

I'm looking for a razorblade necklace like dime's. I read online that it was a gift from Rita and that she got it from a shop in Arlington TX in early 1988. Last thing - my local store sells a Bill Lawrence L500XL. Who is this from? I believe I read somewhere that you can only get the Bill & Becky one's direct from them so I assume my shop's one must be a BLUSA?
