All U RG100es freaks- help a brotha out! PLEASEreadme!
hey yall
as much as I dig and respect Dime's ridiculous playing- to be honest its the CROWBAR TONE im goin for. specifically the tone on thier self titled album -goddam its so HEAVY RAW AND THICK AS BALLS! I was readin on an old thread on the Crowbar board Kirk said he plays outta some "old old" Randall amps Dime turned him on to (rg100es)
first of all i dont suppose anybody knows specifically what year rg that album was recorded with or Kirk Windstein is on record for favoring or does it matter?
anyway im on a search for 1 of these guys and was wondering if theres 1 year or years i should be looking for over others. I know some like the 85s, Marker likes his 86, and some say the "older" ones can be a little thicker sounding?
Marker said in another thread he thinks Randall started using another supplier for parts after 86- BUT what about an 85 vs 86? exactly the same? what about even BEFORE 85?! like an 84? is there any difference between an 84 vs 85-86 as far as innards or???
exactly how far do these bad boys go back -first yr of RG100es was...?
fill me in here people- im anxious to get this deal goin and start rippin it up again- BEEN TOO LONG since ive jammed out n its TIME!
'preciate it!
i know 1 thats lookin for a good time if any of ur amps are interested-
(hi hat sound) yeah maybe that was a pretty corny ass joke but for real does anybody know if there is a serial # on back of the head in plain view that will give a general idea of date of manufacture? at least year?(besides the date sticker inside)
any other clear identification clues with exact year cut-offs for certain
things or is the cosmetic stuff just vague general correlations?
thanks in advance
Paul
Has Guitar World put out any special magazines about Dime?...they've done it in the past with EVH and Rhoads, but I'm not sure about Dime.
I'm looking to read up on some Dime stuff without having to buy individual back-order issues...unless it's already compiled in a "Guitar Legends" format.
Any help?...or links to where the articles may be found?
Hey dudes just saw Lynch jam at the a clinic yesterday, and he was talkin' bout how he helped develop the RG100ES with the engineers at Randall in the 80's. He also said that Randall has caught on how popular that amp is and is workin' on a new RG100. I also talked with the Randall Sales rep that was there and he said the same and he also said they were doin' a 300watter.
speaker cab "packing" for a tighter bass?
anybody ever heard of/ done this b4? I just nabbed a Standard (oversize) 4x12 slant Recto cab off ebay- im glad its mine now but i hope I dont find the bottom TOO lose and unable to track well without mushin out for faster stuff- i googled and saw on some other board
someone suggested to a guy to just "pack his cab" with some material for a little tighter bass if that was a prob. -
what is exactly meant by this? how? with what?
thanks
Mxr 6 band and Noisegate Loop Switcher idea
This pedal when done will allow me to switch my 6 band mxr in and out my signal path, gaining me use of my randall clean channel by bypassing eq. It also lets me switch 2 channels of noise gate (Ch1 after mxr and pq3 #1, Ch2 after pq3 #2 in the loop) in and out with a single switch.
You could use a standard amp channel switcher for each channel, but I'm gonna use my rocktron replifex's amp switching jacks. The gmajor and behringer fcb1010 do this as well. So within my presets, I can define if my gates are on or off as well as if the eq is in or out. I already switch my Rg80's channels in this manner with my fcb1010. The effects will be all true bypass.
It's all a concept right now, and any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance fellas, and feel free to steal the design. The original idea is from geofex.com.
My signal path is
Dimarzio Evolution
Peterson strobostomp
morley bad Horsie
Split to rig a / b
Rig A
Mxr6 band
Pq6 ch 1
Dbx 266a Gate ch1
Rg80es
Loop out-->pq6 ch 2
Dbx 266a ch 2
Rocktron replifex
Fx return
Randall Jaguar 2x12
Rig B
Pod xt
Crown ce1000
Randall jaguar 2x12
All to be controlled by a behringer fcb1010
I plan to phase the pod out and run the replifex into the ce100 in stereo and add another rg80-es for a distortion blend.
Right now i blend distortion between pod and randall, and cleans are all pod.
I have these in the forum trading post if anyone wants em.

So, I ordered this CD the other day after listening to Cowboys Do More Dope and Get Outta My Life on their MySpace page.
And I gotta say, daaaayum! Much better than I was expecting! Far better efforts than Damageplan and HellYeah put out...something pretty different to what they'd done before. And good different.
The tracks are all really catchy, and you find yourself unconsciously nodding your head to the tracks, which to me speaks a lot about music.
It's good to hear that country and western feel to some heavier music, and without 'metal 'vocals. A lot of nice variety on the CD, too, along with some really catchy riffs, vocals and some good solos from the Dimebag.
I guess if you detest country music then you might not be a fan of this CD, but I'd recommend people picking it up, or checking out some of the tracks on their MySpace page.
If it weren't for the wonder of MP3 players, this thing would be wedged in my CD player for a hell of a lot of spins. Still, the CD pops its head up like the rest of my CDs do, whenever I play them on my Xbox, or stick em in our proper stereo setup in the living room.
Anyone else grabbed this? Thoughts?
Imo, it's the best product of the 'post-pantera' days,
Cool story the first time I saw Pantera and met Dime !
I saw Pantera for the first time on the CFH tour right here in Raleigh, NC. The club was called the Switch and it was packed to the gills to say the least !
Pantera started their set and all hell broke loose with most in attendance going off. We were all moshing and stagediving proper until... about my tenth time jumping I slipped on BEER? and gashed my shin on the edge of Dime's monitor. I was so amped up I didn't really feel much but I needed to take a look at it.
So I dive off and the crowd is there to catch me but just as I was about to slip down, they flipped me over the now-raging pit.
It would have been all good but there were no people right in that section where I landed.
I don't know if you guys remember ABC's wide world of sports back in the day but the "Agony of Defeat" frame comes to mind.
I landed at about a 45 degree angle to the floor. My right foot hit first and POP, I could hear it above the PA (which was cranked).
I thought I broke my foot, so I hobbled over to the side with the help of a buddy to assess the damage...
My foot had already swelled and had to undo my laces to my Chuck's. I finally pull my foot out, take off my sock and HOLY s#%t...I almost passed out at the sight.
My big toe was out of socket and under my other toes...damnit.
I tried to get my buddy to yank it back into place but he was too much of a wus. Truth be known, I screamed like a little girl every time he tried, lol. We ended up going to Urgent Care just to have the doc do the same thing, patch up the gash on my shin and charge me accordingly.
We ended up going back to the club, show was over by then but we hung out to meet the band. we finally get on the bus, more like I hobbled, explained my story between beers and shots and Dimebag s#%t his pants at how hardcore it was for me to get damaged like that and still come back for more.
He was one of the coolest guys I have EVER met, humble and appreciative. He was AMPED about the CFH record/tour so far.
As well he should have been..the rest is history. I saw them many more times after that first tour but...I'll NEVER forget that night, still have my shin scar (nasty), T-Shirt and show ticket.
Good Times man !!!!!!!!!
I've heard from Grady Champion

Good friend and a Bottle of Pills, quote of 'Riffer Madness'
Probably, it was posted somewhere. Sorry in advance:
"Dear Dime,
I love the way you play and make weir-assed noises on you axe that actually become an integral part of the song as opposed to just being a noise. My all-time favorite batch of noises happens in "Good Frinds and a Bottle of Pills" {Far Beyond Driven} - man, they`re so sick as Phil`s lyrics! How did you make `em, goddamnit!"
Psycho B Rodriguez
Ridge, NY
"Well, Psycho, this almost goes back to the story about noises at the from of 'Cowboys From Hell'. What was goind on with 'Good Friends and a Bottle of Pills' was this: When we were cutting the demo, I was standing right by Vinnie`s drums and my {noise} gate was just set tight enough to keep me shut-up. But I had the volume of my guitar turned up full so whenevr he hit his snare it would open the gate because my pickups are pretty sensitive. So, every time he hit his snare, it would pop the gate open and let all the rocket and s#%t trouht the amp."
"Then, when we came to cut it for the album, I stood in the same exact place and it wouldn`t do it again no matter what - it just didn`t sound as cool! So, we went back and took those noises off the demo! It was real loose on the deom, and some those noises are me just dicking around, scraping a Coors Light beer can across the strings and just jacking off. Maybe that`s what I was missing the second time we went back to cut it - I didn`t have the same amount of beer in my car!"
what is the order of greatness of Bands that came out of Pantera?
I'd say:
Pantera>Down=RebelMeetsRebel>SuperjointRitual>Damageplan>Hellyeah

on one of the Pantera home vids u see Dime making a Rattlesnake skin guitar and i think it might have been a washburn but does anyone have a pic of it they could post? it would be sick if Dean remade some and would make a small limited run of these but i think in the future i might work on making one myself. thanx.

question about my Dime washburn 333
by RUPP on Tue Jun 12, 2007 2:02 pm
Ok first of all please dont hate me for posting washburn on a Dean website, you all know if this was a gibson or something there would be nothing said but because its a washy it must be terrible to post on a dean forum, also i tried posting this on wahsburns forum but nothing its a dead forum nothing happening. Now on to my question
Here is my washburn 333 blackjack Dime looks just like all the other all stock and all
but here is one thing different from the other ones ive seen, mine has white binding around the headstock, the others ive seen are solid black, i was told that this was a true 1995 washburn 333 meaning it would be the first run of the 333 ever, but i have not found anything to verify it,
I even sent an email to washburn and no reply, is this truely a 1995 washburn and rare or is this nothing really? I want to know because i was thinking about upgrading it with duncans and a better bridge but if is a real 1995 i dont really want to ruin the originality of it and will just try to save for something else (hopefully a dean next time) to custom do with good pups and stuff thanks
also the serial number is S5038662 if that helps
Check it out, Dime tribute..
hey guys...
im not a huge poster here but i have been lurking around these boards for a while. i thought i would finally share something with you all... which is my own personal tribute to dimebag darrell. like many of you, i am a guitar player and was HUGELY influenced by Pantera and the playing of Dimebag Darrell. when he died i was competely heartbroken because of the tragic circumstances surrounding his death and the fact that although i had been in love with pantera for many years, i never saw them play live. shortly after his death my sister painted this for me, which i now had professionally framed and hanging on my wall:
dime will live on in us all and everytime im playing guitar along to some pantera tunes and i look up at this painting... i feel the spirit of dime rocking out along with me.

yea im pretty sure almost all of u have seen the vid. if not here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9Zi6kHdCEY
ive heard people say of wat songs the solos r from from bits and pieces but some of em were wrong and if any of u guys know exactly wat parts r from wat songs that would be great thanx.
any opinions on this amp?
ive been trying to find a good solid state amp that gonna give me that face melting tone. ive been trying out some marshalls, line 6 and peaveys but havent been able to get what im looking for. After paying real close attention to alot of the randalls ive relized that if there was an amp to give me what im looking for then the randall would probly give me what im trying to get. i recently baught a rh100g2 from deathgrind here on the forum, havent received it yet though. anyways, can anyone tell me if im gonna get that "crunch" that im talking about? i know ill get the goods from it, but is there anything particular thats gonna give it to me?
Favorite Dime solo to play?
I would have to say 1.Cowboys
2.Floods
3.Domination
I had an idea. Could we have 1 master thread of TLLL LA Dime Trip with links to each thread as the 1st post and sticky that to clear up the top of forum? Just my opinion. Thanks and great work on those, they do rule!

hey guys im looking to trade my rg 100 es heads for the rack ht heads because i play live so much ,so someone who has one and doesnt play live this would work for my heads are 1986 heads and sound badass...
tommorrow im getting a new amp head, an rg100es xp series head. so i was wondering if anyone could recommend me some settings in advance to try out with it? i have a blue mxr 6 band too btw so any help with settings for that would be great. im kinda wanting a vulgar/fbd tone
thanks guys
p.s which amp input is the best to use, low or high?
new amp day (randall content :D)
at long last, I own an amp that actually sounds good! ive had 4 amps and each one has managed to suck in its own unique way, but now finally I have an amp which sound amazing, a Randall RG100ES XP series head. millions of thanks to slaytanic, your a legend dude! this head rules, I cant believe how much better it is than my warhead
quick review:
i gotta be honest, just going straight from guitar to amp will not give you enough gain for metal. but stick an mxr 6 band + a boss metal zone up front and your in hi gain heaven. The boost switch on this head doesnt cause as much volume drop as it does on the standard RG100ES heads (so Ive heard anyway) but the volume drop doesnt bother me in the slightest, its still loud as fook! if your after a good-for-metal solid state amp then this head is the one to get, they cost a lot less than most heads but still give you an amazing metal tone (provided you have pedals to boost gain)
anyway, enough talk, here is some pr0n:
head is hooked up to my warhead speakers

Can a BBE sonic stomp replace a furman pq?
Ive been digging through old threads and found one where a guy recorded sound clips of him using an mxr pedal, rg100es and a bbe sonic maximizer and it sounded really good, very thick and chunky. he did a comparison clip with furman pq3 instead of bbe and it was very hard to tell a difference. so I was wondering as the bbe sonic stomp has the same circuitary as the rack maximizer could I use that with my rg100es instead of using a furman pq? a sonic stomp would only cost me about £60

The "REAL" Grady? Bet your ass. So shut the %$#@! u
From time to time I come here, & check out what people have to say. When I find misinformation reguarding Darrell or things closely related to him, I will sometimes post, especially when it seems to be getting out of hand. Misinformation. It is partly the reason why there is this Dimebag Darrell Tribute Area. %$#@! misinformation. It is no good.
It has always amazed me to the extent you guys have wondered about Darrells equipment setup. Thinking back on it, I can understand, as we could never figure out how all those dudes got their sound "Plugging straight into the frippin amp man. Its a Marshall"... We had to know what the guitar body was made of, what the neck was made of, what the frets were made of, how many winds there were to the pickups, what the cord they used was made of, did the color of the paint effect the sound??? It never ended. So I can understand. You guys even go on about the blue MXR. I've never even THOUGHT about telling that story.
So without Darrell here, you guys are going to have a hard time coming up with the answers that you seek. Except...
A few years down the road, along comes Grady. The Dragon.
A true source & the one real chance you guys have at getting the questions answered, by the man that put the equipment together, strung the guitars everyday, the guy who worked one on one with Darrell at every live show. Would Grady know the setup? Would Grady know how, what & when? Some would argue better than Darrell.
All of us have been affected by what has come to pass in our own ways. The people that were close, in referancing personal information, tread lightly when giving it out. I'm half surprised that Grady has chosen to address any questions at all. But he has gone beyond that & gave you guys an email address that you can personally ask him questions.
The dude is on tour. In Europe. With a big band. He is busy as %$#@!. And now hes trying to talk about his old friend. Relive some memories.
And now you question him.
And now you doubt him.
Some people are even borderline talking s#%t.
After what has been posted by some of you, knowing Grady, everyones questions are soon to go unanswered.
The real Grady is taking questions, & giving answers.
Weather its what you want to hear or not, give it time, & show some frippin respect.
By the way. Want Darrells signal path? Pick up a frippin guitar and play the thing. Its what he would do. Its all the signal path you need.
BLOW IT
anyone tried this with rg100es?
im certain this has been tried before, but anyway...
earlier i was messing around with my pedals, changing order, settings, etc, and found if i put the mxr in the loop and drop off mids i got an amazing scooped tone. trouble was, with the mxr in the loop there wasnt enough gain anymore. sooo i was wondering if i ran the mxr up front with sliders boosted, and furman pq4 in loop with mids scooped, would this sound good? or does furman need to be up front too?
I have made my 1st tribute to the King.

DIMEBAG's Family Distances Itself From Upcoming Biography
by brn14me on Mon Jun 25, 2007 5:32 am
***********COPIED FROM BLABBERMOUTH.NET************
The publicity firm representing the family of the late PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott has issued the following statement:
"The family of the late Dimebag Darrell Abbott has not authorized nor co-operated with Zac Crain on his upcoming book on Dimebag, scheduled for release on Perseus Books in November of 2007. In addition, Mr. Crain did not know Dimebag personally.
"Mr. Crain's request to the family was denied. Among other reasons, during his tenure as music editor of the Dallas Observer, Mr. Crain wrote nothing but negative reviews about PANTERA's music."
In his review of PANTERA's 1996 album "The Great Southern Trendkill", Crain wrote, "the Cowboys from Hell should stick to running low-class strip joints instead of trying to record albums that would be played in them. Fortunately, it looks like they've decided to do just that. Oh, except for that horrendous Dallas Stars theme song. But, hey, whatever keeps them from working on new material in the studio. And, yes, I'm fully aware that Vinnie Paul could kick the s#%t out of me."
Zac Crain's "Black Tooth Grin: The High Life, Good Times, and Tragic End of 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott" is scheduled for release on November 5, 2007, according to Amazon.com.
According to the book's official description, "'Black Tooth Grin' is the first biography of 'Dimebag' Darrell, the Texas-bred guitarist of the heavy metal band PANTERA, who, along with three audience members, was murdered on stage by a deranged fan in 2004 — twenty-four years to the day after John Lennon met a similar fate. Darrell Abbott began as a teenage guitar prodigy, inspired by KISS and winning local talent contests. With his brother, drummer Vinnie Abbott, PANTERA was formed, and it became one of the most popular and influential metal bands of the '90s, selling tens of millions of albums such as 'Cowboys from Hell' and 'Vulgar Display of Power' to an intensely devoted fan base. In contrast to the band's aggressive music, 'Dime' was outgoing and gregarious, devoted to his craft, and adored by just about everyone who knew him. From PANTERA's heyday to their implosion following singer Phil Anselmo's heroin addiction, from the band DAMAGEPLAN to Darrell Abbott's tragic end, 'Black Tooth Grin' is a must for anyone who misses this guitar legend."
"If all it takes is ONE voice "...so true.
"If all it takes is ONE voice out of the hundreds here to "ruin everything" then that's laughable....yep, you can all blame the ONE VOICE "
If all it takes is one voice.
Funny you should say that.
In the Dimebag Darrell Tribute Area.
It really should be the Dimebag Darrell Memorial area, shoulden't it?
Why is it that there is a Dimebag Darrell Tribute Area in the first place?
In a fourm where you so often come to. In a fourm where you so often post. In a place where you feel so comfortable that you can freely wield the power to question the validity of all others. I question you in the simple understanding of whos grave you delight in dancing on, and why.
The question, once again.
Why is it that there is a Dimebag Darrell Tribute Area in the first place?
Once again, your quote.
"If all it takes is ONE voice out of the hundreds here to "ruin everything" then that's laughable....yep, you can all blame the ONE VOICE "
Your words ring just as loud as all the shots fired on December 8th.
Yes, all it took was ONE
Only ONE
Voice, Idea, Thought, Person. Out of many, many MILLIONS.
To ruin quite a bit.
The time I have wasted in addressing you is regrettable.
is atari a fagg for making grady leave
i personaly say yes thanks dude the one real source to our questions and you @#%$@!!& it up dude
My story on discovering Dime
I didn't even know who Dimebag was until after he died. When I was 8, my sister would crank Pantera in her room. I liked it. But I never new it was Pantera. Never new the great Darrell Lance Abbott was playing the riffs.
I found out more about Pantera last summer. I was interested in getting a Dean ML. I listened to the Dean Radio on the home page. Then, a song came on. "Holy s#%t," I thought. "It's that song, the song Meg would crank in her room, the song I loved to death" I looked at the little bar with the band and song. It said 'Pantera- Walk.'
"Pantera?!" I thought. "That's that one band I heard my sister talk about." I quickly Googled, and found out that it was from the album A Vulgar Display of Power. I was at Best Buy ASAP. Got the album, came home, and put it in my computer. I HAD to listen to Walk. Then I let it skip onto the next track. "ONE TWO THREE FOUR!" %$#@! ing Hostile kicked in. "s#%t! THATS ANOTHER SONG MEG LISTENED TO!" Instantly I had to jump out of my chair and headbang the hardest I'd ever headbanged before. I let it play more. 'This Love, Rise, back to Mouth For War, it was all coming back.
"This is it, these are the songs from my child hood I thought I'd never hear again." I was so stoked.
I HAD to learn more about Dimebag Darrell. I HAD to study his playing and HAD to look at and drool over his signature guitars.
Learning more and more about him, I felt like I almost knew him personally for some reason. Then I watched a tribute video of him on YouTube. Hollow was playing, and there were little video clips of home movies made with him. I have to say I almost cried. Regretting that I didn't even know his name until then. Knowing that I'd never get to go to concert, watch his work, cheer for him... never meet him.
Now he's my biggest influence of anything ever.
Dimebag, I know you probably don't read this, but man... I wish you were here. You're my hero.
Pantera is now one of my favorite bands ever. Why didn't this happen sooner.
Listen kids...i'm not going anywhere..that's the reason why i sent out an e-mail addy..if little crybabys can't fn play thier guitar and they're not getting enough 'info' or whatever..let em hate..i'm a 40 year old dude now..a little old to be questioned by some child who's mommy didn't teach him how to grow up and be a man..I'm answering as fast as i can, and will continue to do so..nothing has changed...nothing will..
Metal up your arses_Grady
decent alternative to mxr flanger/doubler?
are there any other rack units or pedals out that would be a good replacement for the mxr flanger/doubler? with my warhead I used one of the built in effects to simulate the doubler, but my rg has no built in effects, so im after some kind of pedal that will do the job
anyone got a tab for p.s.t 88? *UPDATE PAGE 2*
has anyone got one off the internet, or has anyone here made one?
MACHINEHEAD - AESTHETICS OF HATE
For those that don't know..i thought I'd share this info about the song with everyone.
Straight from Wikipedia...
The song was written by the band's guitarist/vocalist, Robert Flynn. He states the song is a response to the writer William Grim, whose article on conservative website The Iconoclast - "Aesthetics of Hate: R.I.P. Dimebag Darrell, Goodbye & Good Riddance" - was an attack on Dimebag Darrell and heavy metal in general.
The band had first played the song on the Sounds Of The Underground 2006 tour on July 29th, 2006 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. It is featured on their 2007 album The Blackening and was recorded with a Washburn Dimebag model guitar which Dimebag Darrell himself gave to Flynn as a gift after smashing Rob's guitar the night before. The song will be the lead single of The Blackening. A video for the song was just shot and has been released. The video shows lead member Robert Flynn behind a fence and the band performing in a darkened room.
After reading about that, it makes the song mean so much more. Even though it was cool all in itself, it hits closer to me personally.

and so ive been sitting around thinking and experimenting with different wiring for the whole dimes rig tone thingy. grady told me to listen listen listen. and i have been and wired things up a little differently with my rig and upon accident or luck produced the trendkill tone its not exact but that top end crunch/sizzle that he had on that album. but i used to wire things up as follows guitar-furman-mxr-amp. and it always was missing that clear chunk. but i noticed i couldnt really boost the bass on the mxr without it being too bassy and sounding shitty. so i wired it like this amp-furman-mxr-guitar.and im now able to boost the bass on the mxr up and get that saturated crunch without being muddy and missing clarity. ive been looking at the guitargeek rig thingy that was suppost to be told by grady to whoever the hell at guitar geek or whatever. and if you start at the amps the first gain unit is the furman but the mxr wasnt there. probably because the the eq on the amp. and if you have riffer madness he says i have 3 stages of gain before i even hit the amp. the lawrence, mxr and furman. so that might actually be it. guitar to mxr to furman to amp?.........ive been thinking alot about it and it seems like that might be it. dime i personally think threw hints in how he had it wired up but wouldn't really say. but hey thats just me. anyone else have anything to add to this? later Josh
Boss DD-3 VS Boss DD-6, which wins?
Im planning on getting one of the boss delay pedals, but I was wondering which would be the best one to go for, the dd-3 or the dd-6? I would only be using it to 'act' like an mxr flanger/double ie. to thinken my tone up a bit, on harmony central the reviews are mixed concerning the dd-3, it has a strong love/hate thing going on. the dd-6 has rave reviews however, but is pricy. can someone who has tried one or both tell me how good they are and which would be the best to buy?
Nickleback tribute to Dime
I saw Nickleback last night and they did a huge tribute to Dime. With interviews and footage of him playing. It was awesome. Than they played side of a bullet in his memory. That was cool because Vinnie gave them a bunch of out takes from the Pantera recording days and they took a solo from those tapes and used it in the song on the album. They told the crowd they'd be punching in Dimes solo during the song and that is why neither guitar player will be playing the solo.
One of them we playing a Dean for that song too. After the song i shouted Dimebag repeatedly and the trend cought on. It was the best moment of the day. Nickelback was really good to the crowd. I have alot of respect for those guys.
Still waiting on those clips Marker.
A sample of my rig's sound
Please comment this. it's not the best quality, but it's something. Make sure you watch the ending.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4H1kpLQ5fo
Is any one here willing/able to participate in the recording of a Tribute song? I'm thinking of "Hollow" as a great one. Someone lays the drums, sends the file, someone adds bass sends the file, ect, ect.
I could mix it and all that. if you wanna be involved post up.
Celestion Vintage 30's Vs. Line 6 Custom celestions?
so ive got randall xl's with the v 30's and im going to be getting a line 6 vetta II head and was wondering if anyone knew if the line 6 speakers are any good. and should i most likely stick to my randalls cabs? with i most likely will be. since they cost like $400 more than the line 6's. later.
