I just happened to see one of the finest dimeslimes i've seen...
Made In the USA, 1995.
First and only owned by the guy
1.) a BBE Sonic max thats 5/10 cosmetics and 10/10 working condition includes box and manual.
2.) a washburn hardcase (as i mentioned, disregard if i said its not included).
3.) a beaten up softcase that still works except some of the zippers are broken, no major tears though.
TO those who will get it within the month:
*you will also get an MXR smartgate along with the above package.
you have the option to get the MXR KFK 10 band EQ instead, however, i wont be able to give you the sonic max anymore because sobrang lugi na talaga
-all stomp boxes mentioned includes complete box and manuals.
All that was...
45000 philippine peso,
around 1100 dollars if estimated.
IT WAS A frippin STEAL!!!! and I missed it...
Now Im working on getting the FM333!
Just to lay the Record straight...
on Sat May 03, 2008 10:58 am
I know alot of us here are suckerd into Tabs in s#%t, thats great IF you find the right ones... and i notice alot of people still play Walk, A New Level in DADGBE tunning, I may be a bit bored and see TOOO many youtube vidz but comon if you see Dime Playing the FBD Dean and he plays I'm Broken, 5 Minutes ALone, Becoming, and Use My Third Arm, on the old live clips... Well to my understanding them songs are DGCFAD C hair a dime (correct me if i'm wrong) i forget the tunning specs, He used the same damn guitar for Walk and A new level... Wouldnt that make them C hair also??? Just to lay it straight, i mean it see alot... You see it alot, that and Dime wasnt James Hetfeild he did UP PICK often in Both of these killer songs... ANd yeah i'd post a video if i could i'm too busy buying guitar s#%t instead of a cam to post up on you tube... SOoo say something if your not one of these people, most of us on here arent because vital information gets posted, soo i'm not talking to you, but i have friends that dont belive me because of "tab" books...

1 step closer Dime Tribute 333 is almost finished....
Got this back from my Luthier today, He put a new fretboard (Brazillian Rosewood) with rolled edges and SS frets.....
Next week, I'm taking it to the painter to refinish the Neck and Headstock, then final assembly and set-up.
Sorry for the crappy pics...........
Sorry it's not Dean, but it is Dime related
Awesome Dime Guitar

never seen this one before
on Sun May 04, 2008 10:56 am
Does anybody know any websites which sell Dime Washburns that ship to the uk? (Not ebay, boogie street or Funky Munky).
I just wanted to know what anybody here thinks about this multi effects unit. Or if you have had any experience with it. Not Dime related, but still....
Hey, i've been talkin to my bud in SC, ad he told me he went to get a floyd put in his MLX, but the place he took it to said they couldn't put one in. Anybody know if you can, or anyone who has actually done this?
Razorback Boa snakeskin finish
i love the snakeskin oriented dime guitars, like the new stealth, and i recently saw this one on carlinoguitars.com . i love it, yet have never seen it anywhere else. anyone know of any other snake related deans?
Randall RX half stack and rig
I've just been wonderin if i should invest in the Randall RX120 half stack, and then Boss ME50, Whammy, Crybaby From Hell, MXR Six band EQ, and then some kind of boost. Or if I should save for a looooong time and get a Randall Century, or some other affordable solid state Half stak/stack. Any amp suggestions would help!
GOLDARN' Electric solo question
on Mon May 05, 2008 8:45 pm
Does anyone know the correct last part of the solo. After the run up the neck. I have the lost lesson with Dimebag but it is kind of hard to figure it out.
Is this true?????
on Tue May 06, 2008 10:54 pm
sounds like his style
killer solo, f'n sick!
F.M. Washburn 333 D3 slime full review
Here is my review of the Funkymonky Washburn 333 D3 slime.
Well where do I start
well the neck is freaking awesome! I love the neck! it goes from a v neck tward the headstock and a c way down tward the body, its basicly a v neck, the craftsmanship is real nice for an import made in indonesa
but dont let that fool you,I have played dean usa and usa washy's and its damn close to usa built quality, the fretboard and frets are impecable, nice big jumbos that feel and look great!
we all know the dimebucker ruels in the bridge and the symore duncan 59 in the neck position rules to, sounds nice and warm, gets a good dime tone for some solos, the finnish is top notch, the buzz fieten system really seems to work, its nice and even all the way up the neck stays nicely in tune, one of the best things about this guitar is the neckjoint,it gives easy acces to the upper frets with ease, the Schaller made Floyd Rose Lisc Bridge is nicer in my opinion than the ones on the dean imports.
all and all I would highly recomend this axe, I give it a 8.9 out of 10,10 being like a usa or a real dime guitar.Oh! and did I mention the matching headstock? thats sweet to!
well there you go Tim,any questions? let me know.
:: MXR :: Old Blue 6 band vs New Black 6 band :: MXR ::
okay is there a major tonal difference vs the two cuz i dunno how i could do with the no off switch on the older ones... i kinda need my clean tones? just wanting everyones opinions...
I know there are still a lot of Washy Dime guitars floatin around, but i was wondering if Boogie Street actually produces them, or just puts out limited runs. I really want to get a Dimeslime, or maybe a Stealth.
hmm, blank box. Apparently not straight from a manufacture.
Gig bag, with the "other" brands name on it. Please no hate. Would have been nice to get a case. Dont think these came with one though.
Well, its definately an ML shape. Wierd looking headstock pocket for the bag.
Looky what was inside. Black with flame and pointy oh my!
Buzz feiten tuning system. nice touch.
After I set it up (which this needed it badly) and jammed for about an hour, I saw the sun peeking out so I wiped it up real quick and got some pics of it sunbathing.
notcie the tuners are lined up perfect unlike the new imports that Washy does.
This shaller floyd is every bit as good as an OFR. Look, a different kind of tracktion knob.
mmm. lightning bolt inlays and the fretwork on this thing is unlike anything Ive seen on an import.
Im not going to do a full review yet but Ill just say this. When they made these, they werent messing around. I cant find a single flaw anywhere and the build quality is solid as a rock. This is high end import here.
Noob question comin your guys' way! how do you PM?
Anybody know when Dean mails you back after applying for DOA? it's been 3 weeks now
on Wed May 07, 2008 11:19 pm
I was on the ed roman guitar website and I was looking at the washburn section to see what they had and notice they had a dime culprit for $5000. NEVER BEEN USED OR PLAYED...........Even if this is true WOULD YOU PAY 5G's just for this model????
on Thu May 08, 2008 12:02 am
There's one on Comcast In Demand right now. Look under music, then Fuse, then go to Metal. It's pretty good, except I hate that Julia chick - its about 20 min long. available till June.
Just wonderin if anybody here has one of these. Found both at Funky.. FM for 400 and EG for 350. Are they any good?

what do you guys think of a 7 string red stealth with black bevels emgs a black floyd ebony board? i want to get this made by shamray guitars an i want to know what you guys think also if the dean stealth horn longer than the washburn stealth? and could some one photoshop a stealth to the specs thanks i would really appreciate it

PM me if you missed out and want one. I am gonna go US ONLY this time to keep things easier. I am trying to gauge the interest, so I can go to my guy w/ a number and see if he wants to do more. they are flexfit style - either L/XL or S/M sizes. Here is a pic of the finished product last time around:
Dimebag Sig Olympic guitar...,
Never seen this one before..., you can see the "Dimebag Darrell Signature Model" written on the HS:
I knew Dime was ahthletic..., but in more of a "Texas Drinking Team" kinda of a way
OK im about to remove the bridge pickup from my washburn 333 and replace it with the L500XL from my 79MLF. Ive never done this before, so i need some help. What temperature do i need to set the iron at? i was going to try 40%, is this too cold or would it be ok?
I read that the XL in the DFH's are flipped like Dime's. Is this true?
Keep the faith brothers..I just went through some posts...Unbelievable how passionate yall are!!
I am doing shows w/ Scars on Broadway(Daron Malakian's project)..2 shows w/ Metallica this week!!!
Listen to the solo in "Abuse". More unheard Dime stuff.
Anyboy have a Washy Trendkill or used Funky Munky Dimeslime that they would like to trade for a DFH? Been wanting one of the 2 for a while. Please post or PM me
I was just wondering if they have put out any more runs of the Cross. Saw one on Ebag.....
SWEEEEEET!!!!! Seriously thinking about selling my DFH and calling Eric over there to see if he could give me some kind of payment plan. Anybody have any experience with BSG?
Im having serious problems with my lisc.floyd rose on my dean from hell.everytime use the bar my tuning goes from dgcfad down to b and so on.any suggestions? even when i bend the strings for solos i have to tune the thing up.
Does anyone know what guitar Dime is using in this? It looks like a Kramer.
just saw it post up dude is asking 1700

I know you guys have been getting annoyed by all of my insane trade offers. It wasn't impulse buying, i have just been feeling really stressed lately.
But i found someone who is willing to trade me for an Explosion Razorback. A guitar i have ACTUALLY wanted since they came out.

Question about a picture I'm looking for
on Wed May 14, 2008 3:24 am
Does anyone know if there is a picture out there of the Dean logo but instead of saying Dean with the wings it says Dime? Thanks.
EDIT: Or, does anyone know the font used in the Dean logo?
has anybody noticed that the razorback bumblebee and two-tone say Dime Stealth Razorback on the headstock, and the explosion only says Dime Razorback? just caught my eye. Anybody tell me why it says this?
101 proof not live?
on Thu May 15, 2008 12:52 am
Im arguing about this to some people, they say its not live, that Pantera faked it with takes of live crowd and s#%t.
do anyone know where to find the original bootlegs from the songs included in the cd ? so i can shut these motherf..c off?
just been thinking about the LFR's that come on pretty much all Deans. I'm not a huge fan of the screw in arm, and have been considering getting a different FR. I just don't know which to get, any help would be appreciated. Oh, and i like the ones with the bushing on the arm, OFR type.
works great. front plate is a little scratched up. no missing knobs. comes with 2 space travel rack. $300.00 plus $35 shipping.
Racist Dixie Rebel?
on Fri May 16, 2008 3:47 pm
i know the Dixie rebel symbolises rebelion and has nothing to do with actuall slavery, but do u think some ignorant SOB might see the confederate flag and call u a racist?
Haven't been able to find any pics on this, the best i've got is watchin Dimevision. Anyone have any good ones?
My dad and i are going to try and put together a guitar. Of course, i want to build a custom ML or 333. Only thing is, i don't know of any places on the web that sell the bodies and/or necks. Any help will be appreciated!
Not that anyone cares, but I have been away for a while.
I now have a myspace site. Please check out my Dime
tribute songs. Thanks.
As some people know, i'm gonna try and get a custom guitar together within the next year. But i only have one question, how do i make a set neck?
I love the way this guy repainted it!charcoal finish looks just awesome on the Razorback-much better than simple "black" would, imo.these cream(kinda unusual for such geet...) pup rings fit surprisingly well too.though Dime left somewhere his nose...I'd buy this Razorback in a heartbeat
hey ...if anyone from the UK fancies themselves a dime 333 dimebolt ... i have upgraded the pups to what dime used ... stuck a black flyod on and black grover rotomatic on ... bidding is £350 but buy it now at £400 ...
Just asking, is the neck contour of it the same as the DFH's? the v to c neck?
(I hate the thin as frackin hell ibanez neck)

Officer James D. Niggemeyer
I was thinking maybe we should all write a letter or email to him, these kinda guys never get enough praise for there actions, I know its been years but I bet he would really appreciate it,and he deserves it.
what do you guys think?
Ohio Policeman Named NRA Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
Contributed by Daniel White
Wednesday, 01 February 2006
The National Rifle Association has named Officer James D. Niggemeyer, of the Columbus (Ohio) Division of Police, as
its 2005 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
Officer Niggemeyer was one of several officers who responded to a violent, chaotic situation on the night of December 8,
2004. A little after 10:00 p.m., 911 operators began receiving multiple panic-stricken calls from a local nightclub. During a
concert, a man had rushed the stage and fired shots at the band. In moments, seven people were wounded, four fatally.
Officer Niggemeyer, patrolling just blocks away, was the first officer to arrive on the scene, less than three minutes after
the first 911 call was received. Niggemeyer entered the building through the rear; five more officers arrived momentarily
and entered through side doors. Dead and wounded citizens lay on the floor, shots were still being fired, and several
hundred people were trying to escape.
Despite the chaos, Officer Niggemeyer was able to spot the gunman quickly, near the rear of the stage. Retreating from
the other officers, the suspect had grabbed a hostage, immobilized him in a headlock, and was holding a gun against the
man's temple. Positioning himself about 20 feet from the suspect, Niggemeyer, armed with a 12 gauge Remington 870,
was able to get off one well-placed shot, killing the gunman instantly and ending the carnage. The gunman still had 35
rounds of ammunition when Niggemeyer shot him.
Commenting on Officer Niggemeyer, NRA 1st Vice President John C. Sigler, a retired police captain and now an attorney
practicing in Maryland and Delaware, said, "It isn't every day that an officer is faced with a decision like this. NRA's
Officer of the Year made the right decision under the most adverse conditions and relied on his training and experience
to save the life of an innocent civilian victim. No one can doubt his dedication to duty or his willingness to take
responsibility for his actions. In today's society, law enforcement officers of this caliber must be recognized and
commended. NRA commends this officer for a tough job well done."
Adding to his accolades was Niggemeyer's immediate supervisor, Columbus P.D. Sergeant Jeff Leesburg, who said,
"There is no greater example of police service than placing oneself between the threat and the innocent."
just got to thinkin, if i wanted to make a FBD without paying 900 bucks, would it be possible to get an ML '79, drop a FR in it, and then some stickers?
Long burning question, does anybody here know where Dime got the stickers from that he put on his FBD?

look at this bitch :
avatars, yes dime related
Pleeeeez somebody tell me how to get video clips set as your avatars!!! i'm trying to get a part of I'm Broken.
just wnatin to know if Dean actually put out a limited run of these, or if all these people are just getting them custom made.
ok, i can't keep up with all the texas or whatever slang dime uses in many vids. like in the dime clinic, hes like "you know its truuue" and "candy sweat" or something. wtf? someone explain.
So how many people here where into PanterA before the assasination? No lost love for the youngsters who missed out on PanterA when they where still together. It's great that the legacy lives on and continues to inspire a new generation of metal fans. I got into PanterA in '93 when I first heard VDOP. I had the chance to see them once touring with Ozzfest in '00 I believe. And I remember the morning driving to work when I heard the news that Dime was murdered. Still hits like a brick when I sit back and ponder it. The radio station played Drag the Waters in rememberance right after the announcement. Now that song still has that memory attached to it.
MAY HAVE TO SELL MY USA RAZORBACK RUST
on Wed May 21, 2008 9:40 am
In a bad turn of events I may be selling my rust razorback which I bought from new and have used about for times.
The guitar is mint with tags and everything as it would be new, I am truly gutted about this but I thought I would offer it on here first to you guys.
Let me know if interested, I live in the uk and there is only 6 of them over here, so rare as hell, just hope she goes to a good home, breaks my heart to have to let go.
put your dean ml in front of your bed
on Thu May 22, 2008 4:05 pm
I was looking on the dean website and the razorback explosion lefty looks brighter than the righty. is it really brighter or is this just cuz of a bad photoshop?
2 questions. one, i am looking at a pic of Dime witha crown on, and on his ML, there is something that looks like a string retainer, but really long and up at the middle of the HS, what is it? And 2, i was reading in Guitar World that Grady said that Dime's Century 200's lasted like 4 World tours, but he couldn't talk about the Kranks, because he wasn't really around for that. If he wasn't, then who was?
Dime Razor Bolt for only $8,999, only 20 left!
Anybody want to go in halves on this with me?

Hotbox Cigarbox guitar
Some pics of my USA DFH with it's lovely BK Warpig :)
Meant to take a couple of pics before as I've had the Warpig in for ages. Sounds great and totally transformed the guitar and made me fall in love with it again.
Stock pickup ring didn't work with it (sizewise) and the only thing I could find at hand was a cream coloured one, so just used that as it plays off of the zebra Super Distortion at the neck.
Here are the pics anyway:-
It's especially great because I don't care if anyone thinks it looks worse - I like it and it sounds a million times better than before (my opinion of course
I bought it when it first came out a couple of years ago or so, whenever it was. i watched it once, and some how it dissappeared right after that and i haven't seen it since. I thought someone stole it. i found it today. after two years i found it behind all of my other DVD's. so i watched it today and it was GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!! what a good day.

i found this on "the bay".
i would go for it but i am coming up with the money for my Stealth LE #10. i also like the way deans feel more than 333's. This is one has always been one of my favorite paint jobs though.
It Seems I've Come to this decision...
which i havent decided on yet...
Dean Import DFH, It's The Most Signature Dime Sig Guitar, and it
doesnt have the word Dime on it.(nothing against dime but i just
feel that the military like stencil lettered Dime on the other tribute
guitars could be better. but it was like that on dime's own guitars) I
have heard that it has the best feel ever. Thing I Don't like is that
the lightning bolt looks too signature to dime, and that's easy to
Jon's Limited Run of the FM333 Slimes, Same Feel of the DFH
probably. Heard great about it too from cross of iron. But thing is I
just love rosewood. great finish on it too.
People who own these. Please give me your opinion on how the
guitars are. You don't really have to tell me what to choose but only
like some mini reviews. thanks!

Not sure if this has been on here before, but whatever.
This is a video of a local detroit band. I never really liked their stuff, but Dime was good buddies with them. They were due to play a show together december 9th, 2004. It never happened.
Hey does anyone have a really good, straight on, pic of the alien head on the back of the Trendkill guitar? I would appreciate it if you could post it. Thanks!

Just need wireless and a splitter and i`m done!
I haven`t had a chance to get it all wired up fully yet but it`s gonna be awsome!!
Does anyone know what this guitar is called? or If it can be bought somewheew? I am guessing it is probably just called the Damage Plan Guitar.
just wondering, if anyone has the Hellyeah dvd ... if so ..is there any rare dime footage on there? if so ..what is there to see ????
First Ill start off by saying that I would show you the box it came in but I dont need any more of you guys on top of ALL the people from here to Texas that already have laughed at my expense. Alls I got to say is rottingcorpse is a queer.
Dean case, what the hell could be inside?
Well looky what we have here. Someone took some naughty pictures of themselves and taped them to my guitar. Someone seems to have a fetish and it sure isnt me.
Sorry had to blur it out. I dont want to get the rest of you paying attention to just the pictures and not my guitar. haha
What is this? Dean doesnt make a transblack Stealth.
mmm mmm mmm almost finger lickin good.
Whoa! Im seeing doubles!! Looks like they multiply...lol
One of each.
Whats better The Washburn Stealth Or The Washburn 333? I was just wondering what others thought was the better model. I like the Stealth better.
Dimes sound ( my explanation )
we all know the ingrediants ..ml ,bl l 500 xl(fliped try it),this goes to the wireless which then the signal gets split we will talk about that later, right now ill talk about the dirty channel, it is mxr six band (blue)furman pq3 or 4, digitech whammy 1, vox or cfh wah, rocktron guitar silencer , rg 100 es (ht live),cenutury 200, mxr flanger doubler..bad ass tone from your hands picking and muting right..a few shots dont hurt either ,Gethcha pull..haha..So anyway this is what i do my rig is scatterd between my home and rehershal spot so i wont have picks untill i get it all home but they will be up...back to the point first thing i do is YES I FLIP MY BL it may not make a diffrence to som people but it seems to for me..if you can have your guitar set up with no tone nob just volume..then i run that into the mxr six band now here i think is the trick i dont crank anything on the six band its sounds muddy and shity this way i think my highest slider is right above 9 and that is 800...the 100 is just above flat the 200 is where i get my gain take it to where is sounds muddy then pull it back just right before that happens about id say 6 db now the 400 seems to be where you get clarity and attack turn it up to much its mushy turn it down to much its way to brittle so i have this set a lil bit below the 200 ...the 800 is at just above 9 db and the other two sliders are just a hair under the 800 and the same with the next one slight downhill effect...that i belive gets that dime gain and tone...now the furman all kinds of fun here this basically just takes that raw open signal ads some gain and makes it tghter...i use a pq3 this is what i do master level is on about 6.5,7..the first freq i use is either arround 150 or i take is up to about 500 the bandwith i dont set much more than a quarter way up..the level here is at 3 slightly more db...second band here is where you scoop...so i take this freq and set it between 400 and 800 the band with here is important set it low just to where you can here it has an effect lil bit less then the first bandwith nob..and then setteh level at about minus 3 or slightly more...now your on to sharpening up the tone...which is done with the 6000 band pick you bandwith to taste and level about 3 db or more... now run all that into your whammy and wah...run that signal into your rocktron guitar silencer..i set everything to the damage plan pics and it works great for the gate which is all nobs about 75 percent of the way up and the last one on each chan, set to your liking i set mine about 35 percent of the way up....this signal gets split into two or more i use two..and goes into two randall heads the ones we talked about above...now the dry head has a hair less gain on it ..the wet head has gain maxed and the flanger doubler always on in the loop...this is set low for reg parts and high for sqeals and solos...the heads are set this is all from memory by the way put ill get the pics up..gain maxed (less on dry head) presence 7 bass 8 mid 4 treb 4.5 volume 3 or slightly less....now like i said above the signal was spilit before the rack and a/b one for dirty one for clean....the clean tone isnt as important as the dime distortion tone but he used a dean markley rm 80 in his rack with some kinda processor for verb i think a quad verb...he also used a fender head for cleans on trendkill. one more thing to remember is dimes tone was not super loud the pressure of teh solid state amp can not be over powering your speaker it has to stay tight which is done by having a low volume just before the speaker breaks up......anyway pics soon good luck..try it out
Which type of amp brand do you like?

I am a die hard Randall fan.

hes got to be a legend not really but hes gotta be someone that can shreded
Hi all, as you can guess from the title this is my first post, I have only just joined:)
There's two things I want to say:
1)I've been looking around on the Dime forum for a while now and how come so many of you have such amazing guitars!!??
2)I have seen someone with the username 'Slaytanic', and it just so happens my brother wrote a song called Slaytanic because the riffs he made for it sounded like Slayer kind of stuff
And also I look forward to talking with fellow Dime-sheep about the great man and guitars in general
I searched for "Kiss stickers" but didn't see if this hadn't been discussed before. I couldn't find one so here goes.
Why aren't Kiss stickers on the tribute Deans? To be associated with Dime gives can mean only good things for Kiss and Dimes legacy.
I'm sure it came down to money, but which party was being greedy? Does it just conflict with endorsement deals from other manufacturers? Even if that is the case you'd think that everyone would bend the rules in honor of Dime.
