I know that i've heard ALOT of people say that flippin a Dimebucker will have no affect on your tone, if this is so, then why did Dime do it on his Damageplan Washy steel guitar? i know he did it on many others, but i don't know about a "treble" blade that is supposed to help if flipped.

This may be kind of a below 70 IQ type question but, a friend and I were wondering how Dimebag got the holes in his Bullethole ML.

Did he actually shoot at it or did he use a drill or something to make them?

And if he didn't actually shoot at it, how much damage would a .22 do to a guitar, just in case someone with experience (not me, I would ask my uncle to help me do it being as I have little experience with a gun) with a firearm was willing to help someone try something on a crappy strat copy?

Last Sunday night we were graciously invited back to Dime / Rita's house by her . Got there around midnight and hung out until the sun came up. We drank til people fell over, jumped in the pool, had a roman candle fight, ate, she also played us a bunch of unreleased Dime tracks that were just amazing, and had a great time, and she brought out a few guitars you will recognize for me and Brian to play. It felt good to get to go back to the house again, as I had not been in there since the morning of his funeral.There is still a magic in the air.

So here's a some pics of our night, and a rare sneak peak into the extremely unique home of Dime's, that just has to be seen to believe, showing again he was definately a one of a kind. These photos are courtesy of my friend Mark aka Fun3ral B3ll.

Ok, I saw a Randall RG100ES head for grabs, and I want to buy it, at the same time I own a Warhead combo 212. I need to know whether I should keep the Warhead or buy the ES head, which one would be a better to use?

I found my Krankenstein has a very Damage plan and late Pantera style Dime tone on its own, but I wanted that classic early Dime Tone out of it, no matter what I did I couldn't get it to sound simulare to the old Randall RG100es or the Warhead....

So I went out and bought the MXR KFK-1 10-Band EQ Pedal and F@#%ed around with it for awile then I got it, I got My Krankenstein to sound Just Like the old Warhead amp!

I compared my Krankenstein with My friends Warhead one day, Holy S@#% my Krankenstein CRUSHED the Randall Warhead! flawless victory...

I guess the Push/pull series effects loop with volume control makes the Krankenstein run as kind of a half tube half solid state I think?
I don't know what it does exactly but it makes the Krankenstein more of a high-gain monster than it already is.

Wow, I got VDOP & CFH last weekend, and I've been listening to Hollow quite a lot, It's such an amazing song Phils vocals are just fantastic, and just snippets of lyrics are really emotional like "It's so important to make best friends in life"... Even though I didn't get to meet or know Dime, it just seems like he was everyones best friend, RIP Brother...

Just thought I'd take this time to pay my respects to Dime, I want this to mean more than just a simple "RIP Man" so thanks for letting me vent my feelings here!

So a while back my cousin gave me a ton of old shirts (mostly hockey jerseys) but among them were a Metallica ReLoad shirt and a Pantera one. I was curious as to when this was was made (all I can make out on the date under the picture is 199?, the last number is faded) and if they sold this one on tour or if it was just sold in stores.

my randall is making some strange noises.

when you turn the volume up, on either ch. past 4, i get this high pitched noise, pig like squeal.

and the amp hums all the time..even on clean, with gain on 0, is this normal?
ive had the amp for over a year now, and dont remember it making either sound when i got it. though i have barley played it untill now.

also note, i cleaned the amp. today. still making the sounds.

How did darrell get such high pitched squeals from his dean from hell and other guitars from the late 80's trough early 90's if you can't shim the neck of a set-thru guitar?

My buddy & I went 4x4ing at a local trail here in Colorado about 5 weeks ago. I've been busy lately, but figured I'd take some time to post now that things have calmed down. The trail is Kingston Peak which overlooks Lake Loch Lomond (caught a few fish in that one). At the top of the trail is a "rock house", where people can sign a rock & leave it there. Also, if you're a traveler, you can bring a rock back from an exotic place & put it here (saw one from Greece). Anyway, just something to do on a weekend, nothing too extra exciting. It was 100 degrees in Denver that day, so being in the mountains above timberline at a cool 70 degrees was nice.

Alright guys I had thr Getcha Pull Dimebag Darrell Memorial Bracelet since they came out almost 5 years ago. It never left my arm. Well recently I got it caught on something and it snapped. It crushed me really bad. I searched ebay, amazon, ect and no one has one they want to sell. And they are not selling them anymore.
