You said you sent it through guitar center, and then said GC sent it back to you, and youd' send it to me, your not answering my texts any more, so I file a dipute with Paypal.
Come on man, either send me the guitar, or send me my cash back.
You have my number, text or call, or something.

tabs
by MIkeST on Thu Nov 11, 2010 7:05 pm
Hey guys, Im new here, but its an awesome forum.
Im an older blues guy, so Im just trying to work on dimes playing styles and also working on maybe getting closer to his tone.
Im still working to through thhe back posts.
Question:
Im not a trained player. I still play by ear.
A lot of the dime-tabs are really different. I'm not someone that wants to copy or replicate exactly. Im cool with people that are, but its not me. Id just like to be able to play the heavier riffs and sound cool.
But even some of the dvd's are quite a bit different in playing dimes riff's.
Id have to say mostly the differences are people that play the heavy riffs at the low open end of the neck, or higher up.
Ive seen "Cowboys" played in 4 different spots on the neck.
As far as Im concerned, as long as the nots are right...who cares what position. I think Dime would be like that too.
Just wondered what you guys though
Big val
by MIkeST on Thu Nov 11, 2010 7:08 pm
Hey you guys,
Anyone know what ever happened to big Val?
I love watching the Pantera Home Video DVD's.
At first, I was sure that it was Val that had died along with Dime, he looks SO much like Jeff Mayhem Thompson.
I also thought maybe it was Big Val and he just changed his name.
I know Kat Brooks was working for hatebreed.
Wonder also about bobby tongs and the rest of them?
Does anyone have a Dime 3 Slime??? I'm ready to fork over money for one... Even a 333, but not a Funky reincarnation...
just got a blacktooth and tried to do channel switching with the a gcx switcher and ground control pro and it will not shut the clean channel off if you only want dirty or shut the dirty off if you only want the clean. is the gcx and ground control pro capable of doing this? or is the footswitch that comes with the blacktooth the only way?

I am a hack at best, but I am getting ready to learn this solo perfectly.
The clip above is where I am starting from. I am a rhythm player but I must learn shredding solo's!!
Sorry for the hack work, but Dime is the man and this heavily has influenced my style.
101%PANTERA announces UK Dimebag Memorial tour 2010
101%PANTERA is a tribute act to the legends of metal and the late great Dimebag Darrell featuring Voodoo Six guitarist Chris Jones.
Formed in 2007 the band have been ripping it up all over the UK to great acclaim. With the goal of recreating the brutal live energy of a Pantera show, along the way they have won the support of Dean Guitars in the UK, with guitarist Chris Jones now an endorsee and product demonstrator for the popular guitar manufacturer that built the guitars for the original Pantera guitarist.
Each year to mark the anniversary of the sickening murder of Dimebag Darrell onstage in Ohio, the lads of 101%PANTERA embark on a special memorial tour through the month of december. Each year has a different twist, and the band is proud to announce that this year they will be performing the entire Cowboys From Hell album which was released 20 years ago this year. They will then finish off with a short best of set from the remaining 4 albums.

prbly been brought up but is a bill l500l really a bl500xl??
i read awhile back that the bill lawrence old school pups aka (b&b) were l500s and that the usa version was called the 500xl is really the (b&b company) l500l's but renamed? any input?
after reading that dimebag gear interview with all the manufactures that had worked with the man himself, seymour duncan said he used a pup he called a 500xxl which might be the bill and becky 500xl!! because the whole time the usa called the bl500l a xl...
not sure just wondering
thanks sean
My washburn stealth ?!?!?...Help Please ?
by ATR1990 on Mon Nov 22, 2010 9:29 pm
Ok so i've had my "Dimebag darrell washburn stealth" for about 5 years or so now. I bought it brand new from a shop with no previous owners. I was cleaning it up yesterday when i noticed mine has no "Dimebag Darrell Signature series" underneath the washburn logo on the Headstock. So this confused me a little, as i am aware that every model i have ever seen has had this. I googled numerous pics of the model, But none matched mine. Also i noticed my truss rod cover has no "Dime2st", Mine has "We2st" ...
So all i want to know is does anyone have any Info on this ?. Was this made after Dimes death, Hence why there is no dime tags on it. ?
Also could anyone identify the date and where it was made ?.
Thanks in advance.

Holy crap, it's so amazing. No wonder folk were blown away when he first appeared on the scene.
I'm trying to figure this out, but it's kickin' my ass - I feel like I almost have some of the licks but I my ears just can't keep up half the time, ahaha. Even trying to watch his hands is hard!
There must be someone on these boards who's had a stab at this before?
