This area's been boring lately
When I joined this area was like 5 new threads a day, tons of responses, and tons to read. Now it's like maybe one a day, WTF? I just started this thread to make it look like stuff happens here still.
just trying to figure this thing out.

Hey, I'm having a CFH repainted by our very own Wyd-Open. I'm getting it done as Dime's original trendkill rebel flag. Dime's had black bindings with black bindings on the HS as well. I left these cream (as if his was originally a stock Dean) so I'm wondering if you guys could help me get an idea of what it would look like with cream bindings instead of black. Also for the headstock, should I continue the cream bindings up there or make them black? I'll have the star inlays done at a later time.
My next project will be another CFH. It might need a whole new fret job so I'll get either black or white new bindings. As for paint, I'm thinking of getting his trendkill camo paint with the skull on the back. Any suggestions on what paint job to do? Keep in mind I want this to be a Dime tribute so no "make it your own" comments. Which bindings should I go for.
Eventually I want to make a collection I'll call "If Dime Never Went To Washburn". It'll be his main axes but all Deans.
Question for the Pantera fans (which are a good percentage of people here).
What happened with Walter O'Brien?
I know he managed Pantera and I believe it was during the years when they ruled the charts. I met Walter when he managed Grim Reaper and he was really a cool guy. I never spoke with him after that.
I always wondered what happened with him and Pantera. I don't know if Walter just retired or what. It just seemed like one day he wasn't managing Pantera anymore.
got it off the bay, but actually the seller lives close so we were able to meet up & do a pick up deal & i'm glad i got to meet Mike & his son...he obviously loved this guitar as much as i do its in almost flawless condition & came with all the case candy...factory tags, product catalog, washburn flyer, original pick ups, tools, keys,& he even had a dimebag camo strap...
i am addicted to these beautiful guitars

Any one have it? Is it good, accurate?
Does anyone here have a good pic of Dime's Ace Frehley tattoo on his chest? I have an idea of getting one the same just replace it with Dime's head. I've looked for a few hours and I can't find a single good one. I want to know if there's anything in the background or just what he's doing in general. Any help is appreciated.
General Guitar Forum: Page 652
I was going through some search results tonight and just happen to realize I was reading a thread dated Dec 10, 2004. Most threads were Dime related and seeing there was no Tribute area yet they were all in the general guitar area. I decided to just read back and look for that horrible day.
Page 652 it was. It was like stepping back in time. Reading what people were saying as it all happened. The panic in their words and the sadness, there was a rumor as it was happening that Vinnie was shot as well. It wasn't confirmed for quite a while that he was actually gone but everyone was just so in awe that they thought it was some horrible sick joke. I can remember that day like it was yesterday. Nothing really I can say, it was just very sad to read through all that stuff. My eyes started watering, I just can't imagine how they must've felt in that club.
I'm sorry to anyone who read this and put them in a dark place for the 2nd+ time. Just wanted to share it with all the people who love him and never read this stuff.
And in closing I want to show a picture I found from back then. Sad how things had to turn out and things that were said that can never be taken back. I hope everyone can all get along someday and they can all be happy again.
RIP Dime, we will miss you forever.

Even if it was a Dime3 I could never see it reaching $5000. Funny thing is it looks very close to the one I got from gunslinger. It was a 97 but it just had the signature, maybe it's the same and the guy just wrote it on. I also put a l500xl in it but anyone could have done that. I traded it to a guy in Ohio so I doubt it's the same. Still funny.
Two rare-er Washy 333's on CL
First is a 333 Rebel. Don't see many of these for sale, price is a little high but looks nice. The guys a little misinformed about some specs. $700

Next is a 333 Trendkill. I've only see one of these before that wasn't a custom shop. This one has the camo and the skull on the back. Price is pretty cheap seeing how these's are pretty uncommon. $500

I didn't post these in the "for sale" forum because they're not mine.

I dont' know about anyone else, but I want to see some quality footage of the Damageplan tour.
There is much footage of Pantera and I have seen most of it that is on youtube, but would love to see some behind the scene footage other than the homevideos because I have seen that as well.
Anybody have any rare Damageplan, Pantera footage?
