If Pantera reunited, who would you want on guitar?
by riklite on Mon Apr 04, 2011 4:45 pm
I know it will never happen and I do not want it to happen. That said, IF Pantera were to rejoin to do a few tribute shows, who would you want on the guitar?
Can any one scan me or take a picture of 4,5 songs from Damageplan tab book, i cant get it here in Serbia? I contacted 3 members but it turns out that they are 3 laziest persons in the world and cant do it for months. Thanks, pm me about email where to send.
I'm Broken Cover
by audiox on Fri Apr 08, 2011 11:11 am
I used a backing track with Drums, Bass and Vocals.
There is no guitar other than my own.
I would really appreciate some comments on it, so hard for people to notice it

thats right, my latest acquisition of a vintage 80s arched wide railed l500xl would definitely explain why Dime said he flipped his pickups claiming there was a "hot" pole on one side. Well, the time has come to say that there actually was a l500xl that does indeed have a hot pole. I have no idea if the windings are different but the rails themself tell the truth. I have yet to install this pickup in a guitar yet but will do so on my first day off and report back to this thread if these rails make a difference in sound. Seems how the wide arched rhythm and lead pickups form the 80s had one higher than the other so they could be placed on opposite ends from each other would like i said, explain why Dime flipped the bridge pup so the higher rail was farther from the bridge. Proof is in the pudding. here ya go.
"PSYCHO HOLIDAY" Solo Cover
After a long time away from these parts, here's my cover of my absolute favorite Dimebag Darrell guitar solo ever. . .

Thanks for checking this out, and long live Dime's inimitable spirit.

Reliced DFH and FBD SOLD?
I was looking through the limited run area and I noticed quite a while back people were talking about a DFH and FBD relic on ebay. Because it was so long ago I couldn't look at the auction to see if it's the same from this forum. Can anyone confirm if those two were actually sold? I know the DFH relic was a 1980 flame, while the FBD was a 79 RI.
Anyone know what they sold for or what he was asking?
Thanks

Looking forward to new footage, music or anything unrealeased of Dime related music/video material.
It has been far too long to say that no new videos or anything has surfaced. We all know Dimebag and the crew had hours upon hours of video footage and songs he recorded just messing around.
I want more just because I know there is more and don't want to wait 10 freakin years to see/hear it.
KENNY KING F U C K YEAH!!!!!!!!
D A M N!!!!!
Now we got Kenny & Stu on here!!! Pretty soon it'll be a family reunion!!!
The stories about Kenny are epic & endless!!! That f u c k e r s heart is still as big & still as into it as it ever was!!! Back then the cast of characters was big & REAL. We all had an influence on each other & the people we've become. Ol' KK sure brought a whole new aspect to the Abbott household & the Pantera way of doing things!!
LOVE YOU B A S T A R D!!!!!
NOW GO BLOW SOME S H I T UP C'MON!!!!!!
Washburn 333's question
by 783.2 on Mon Apr 18, 2011 7:30 pm
Did any of the import 333's have the volute on the back of the neck?
Just seen a repainted one, doesn't have made in the usa on the back, has the white 'dime' logo on the v of the headstock with the washburn logo, and trying to work out out if it's a usa or import.

Anyone know of a better Phil cover?
Check out some more of his videos. Some people accuse him of lip syncing but you can easily hear his voice. Pretty damn good. His bands cover of Rooster is badass as well. IMO he's really the talent of the band from the few videos I watched.

Are there any high quality Pantera live vids out there?
by riklite on Fri Apr 22, 2011 12:41 pm
I know about Monsters of Rock. Are there any other high quality Pantera concert vids out there? The best I've seen so far is a 3 or 4 song set from Ozzfest 03, I think it was. I'd love to see a whole 2 hour set, preferably after TGSTK came out.
