Very cool, I thought.
Had the pleasure of meeting Frank in Dallas many moons ago...helluva musician, showman and just a nice guy.
Rock on, Frank.
Rest in peace, Dime.....

So many things about this are confusing. I don't believe it's an 80's ML but what the hell is it? It doesn't have a volute so I'm assuming it's a C neck, there's no binding on the neck, it's string thru, it's a set neck, the cavity covers are like the 79ML's and the vintage ones (the CFH has a triangular cover), and it looks like there's no body bindings under that paint. If this isn't a vintage then why would someone repaint a cheaper ML in poly to look like a model they already make? If they were to make a true replica then it'd have to have nitro, no other way around that.

has anyone got a picture of the far beyond driven album cover skull without the pantera logo over it?
If you've ever wanted Dime's footswitch
http://cgi.ebay.com/RANDALL-RG100ES-w-DIMEBAG-DARRELLs-actual-footswitch-/140576956564?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20bb0a2094
So apparently this guy has the footswitch from Dime's main Randall that he used for years with Pantera and is throwing it in as some sort of freebee on an old Randall rg100 he's selling for fairly cheap.

Randall century 3000 problem
by chicco on Thu Jul 28, 2011 5:01 pm
Hello everyone, im new, as everyone here is a big fan of Darrell, and years chasing his sound, I have many solid state Randall: RG100 ht; combo RG 80, RG 50 combo .... I recently got a 3000 combo century, a beast indeed, as soon as I arrived I did some tests and was fine, really powerful enough to penetrate the bones, just the sound of VDOP, after a few hours, however, began to give problems that has lost gain and definition, why? what happened?? evidence that does not sound good is that today I got another randall rg 180 dx, equal to the Century 3000, and played very well hit a large, very much gain and definition aitarmi ... can anyone? English lame excuse but I use the translator:) thanks for any replies!
not that there's any thing wrong with the fbd tribute model but im not a fan of the monogram on the headstock.i found the kiss sticker on ebay and had the cannabis sticker made from a pic of dimes guitar i found from namm 2009 and made the traction controls myself.you all know whats in the bridge and its a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck what do you think??

Eqipment Question
by Wombat on Sat Jul 30, 2011 12:14 am
What kind of wire cutters did Dime use to trim excess string?
Well here's a link to some the tracks I got with a Young Guitar Magazine from Japan. It was a tab book with Zakk Wylde and Dime on the cover. It just had a bunch of short tabs with the audio I posted. There was also some gear shots that I'll post later. It's all Japanese so I can't read any of it. I will post the pictures another time once I figure out how to scan them.

Oh ya btw there was about 33 tracks but many of them were just slowed down versions of the riff/solo whatever so I only posted the ones that were in the normal tempo.
Track 28 (frippin Hostile solo) is killer!!
