Dime's house and gravesite pics

I grew up back in Dallas, Tejas. It's been 10 years since I've moved to Florida and 6 years since I've been back home. I went back to visit some friends and had a blast all around. One of the high points of the trip was hanging out with fellow DOA'er and good friend Martin aka Rottingcorpse.

We met him at Guitar Center in Arlington and drove over to Dimebag's cemetary. When we got there, there was already a half full shot glass as well as a handful of guitar picks and a few dimes on his gravestone. It was an amazing site. Martin, Sean and I toasted up a blacktooth and said a few words.

Next we went to Dimebag's house. The spot where the later Pantera albums, Rebel Meets Rebel, and Hellyeah were all recorded. If you've seen the Watch it Go or Dimevision DVDs you're very familiar with this house. This was VERY COOL. (note....not sure but the house looked vacant - that's why I felt comfortable getting pictures - I wouldn't do that if someone was there)

Then we went to the pond where you'll see the later pics of Dime "getting his wings" shot by Chad Lee. The pics of Dime holding his Dean with the sunset in the back.....yep I was there Twisted Evil From there we went to the studio where Pantera recorded their first few albums. Well secluded. I'm sure there was lots of gayidity going on there!

Next we went to Dime's house on Moneterrey. On Pantera 3 when Dime smashed up that dude's car and knocked the mailbox off.....this happened there. This is where Dime grew up. I didn't get any pics of the jam room or the house on Monterrey.

After that we finished the "tour" with dinner at Campo Verde's. Man I miss good Mexican food!! Hope y'all enjoy the pics.

The shot glass was already there. RC left the Crown mini for Dime.
