How many guitars get sold per year?
Every time I get a Musicians Friend catalog, I am amazed at just how many brands and models of guitars get made per year. Then I go to Sam Ash and Guitar Center every time I get a chance, and see all these brands and models on the walls, but rarely see anyone actually purchasing a one.
I realize that new players are born every day, and those of us that do play, buy a few of them, but it just strikes me as odd that dozens of companys are churning out guitars, and off brands of their own guitars, and that they are all finding homes.
Maybe this is a stupid topic, but does anybody know how many Deans get sold a year? I'm just curious.
