Questions about Tribute ML FBD's
by Kidd on Mon Jan 03, 2011 6:16 pm
Hi Folks;
I Just joined this great forum and I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on the differences I see on Tribute FBD's.
For instance, what I have noticed so far is:
1- Some have both the headstock image and body quad, while others just have the headstock image. I guess the quad could have fallen off or was removed but, where was the quad placed.... under or over the clear coat? I got mine new and it has no Quad.
2- Some have black electrical tape on the sides of the neck pickups and others do not. Could someone have taken the tape off, I guess so, but why would you change this?? I have the tape on mine
3- All Tribute FBD's I have seen were built in Korea, according to the headstock, but some have "E" as the leading digit in the SN and others have "US". What does the leading digit in the SN decode to? Mine has the "E".
Thanks for the help folks. I was just wondering about what I have noticed. I am not a Dean or Dime expert, so I figured I'd ask those that were.
Keep Shred'n
