My Dime 3 Stealth Diamond Plate

So after picking up a Dimebolt 333 in February this year and the FM Rebel 12 days later, my itch was finally scratched...sorta. ;D

I added tape to the points to protect from any further wear and tear on the plastic coating from friction.

I removed a spring from the Schaller Floyd when I tuned it to C#.

The case is real nice too. Well built and nice form fitting inside. Very solid and heavy.

Now on to the blemishes. :-\
First let me say that these imperfections are from typical wear and tear on an 11 year old guitar. There are ZERO cracks or chips in the wood or anywhere on the body. It is physically sound. There is a slight hazy residue on the points from where I changed the tape. It is easily cleaned. NOTE: These are very hard to notice under normal lighting. These pics were mostly taken with flash and my room uses LED lighting.

Now this other type of blemish is a derivative of the coating procedure. The plastic coating is very thin as it meets the Diamond Plate edge. Anywhere that it would meet your leg or arm would result in a bit of flaking over time from friction. I cannot remember right now, but I know the coating can be replicated rather easily. I plan to do so eventually. In the meantime I will protect it with electrical tape or some other type of material.

That's it! I phucking LOVE this thing! Even with barely a year of playing under my belt, this quality and playability of this thing against the 333's blew my mind! Let me know what you think and if there is anything in particular you would like to see or know.
