Every guitar player has a favorite guitar - the look, the feel, the sound - no other brand invokes such passion and pleasure. Whether it's a battle scarred axe that you've owned for years or the newest, shiniest model fresh out of the case, nothing else is quite like it. For an ever-growing number of people, this raw passion can only be inspired by a Dean guitar. Whether the guitar is a whammy-barred, jet black heavy metal machine plugged into a Marshall stack or a quilt-topped, abalone-inlayed acoustic work of art, the feeling is the same. In 2001, a relatively small group of people came together realizing that they all shared the same love for Dean guitars. That small group of people has grown in and now numbers in the hundreds. Although geographically seperated by distances that span the oceans , this group, linked together by the internet, formed what is now known as the Dean Owners of America. While we all have heard many great recordings made by famous artists on Dean Guitars, this collection was made by lesser known artists who share that same passion for music and their Dean Guitars. All of the songs on this CD were written and recorded with Dean guitars and basses by"D.O.A." members. You are about to experience the creativity and self-expression unleashed by Dean guitars.
