the photo is very bad I agree but to me it looks like a vintage ML or not?
It has an aftermarket kahler though....but teh price is incredible!

Its a Vintage ML, look at the Golden V Butt... No other than Vintage have the Golden V shaped butt... |

the photo is stretched but the shape appears to be correct, the HS looks like a series III, but it is hard to judge from such a bad pic...it also appears it has no flametop but it does have binding...like ARMITAGE's V! |

Hey Hans...wasn't that one on e-bay recently? I looked at one very similar but couldn't get over the Kahler. My G&L has one and I'm not a huge fan....especially since it's aftermarket. |

No this is one that is on a Dutch guitar site, not on ebay...
It is a USA ML standard serial 80 02086...I think I am gonna buy it....shame about the Kahler |

well this thred got me brain cogs working and i thought if you take the trem off could you get the hole refilled with wood then standard paint(not bursts) over the top?
all done by a pro |

benkia you could but it might make the guitar even less valuable but if the value stays the same it might sell better w/ the trem you never know but f anything itd just be money put into it youd never get back but if you didnt plan on selling it you could do it

When I started this thread I didn;t even knew if it was indeed a vintage DEAN!
Joe yup EURO's and the dollar course is really bad at the moment for you..so it'll prolly cost you a fortune to get it over to the USA..

Yje guy told me there was a bid of € 500 on it but i don't believ him I think he only wants me to pay more...
I offered him 510 though it's in pretty clean condition he told me and he still has the original DiMarzio for the bridge (now holds an Duncan Invader also Cool LOL)...I just have to think about that damn Kahler!
but could be a killer players Axe....adn this one is 510 clean, no shipping, no taxes, etc...that's what makes it interesting!
I hope he bites!

It's mine, had to pay € 510 for an 1980 ML standard with added Kahler, bridge PU is changed to a Seymour Duncan Invader but i get the original DiMarzio Super Distortion too...
not a bad deal I think only a seymour Invader PU is € 110 here...it has the original HSC and apart from the Kahler is in good shape according to the seller, but I'll be the judge of that when I go get it!
