96.3% of the time, it's pretty quick.
Did you send your info already? If so, where'd you send it?
I'm all caught up on number issuances. Send the necessary info (listed on page 1.....) to doa_jim@hotmail.com.

Yes. Dave is partially AWOL for a while.
I think he may have already sent it to me, with me sending a follow-up to you containing the info you needed to send to enroll.
Did you check your email SPAM/junkmail folder? The hotmail address can shuffle it into there sometimes.
If background checks were a requirement for this group, we wouldn't have any members. Nothing but a bunch of degenerates around here.... |

This is a manual process. Suffice it to say that I don't always have time to jump on requests for new numbers, requests from folks that have forgotten their numbers or those that want me to reset their password (which, by the way, I can't).
You'll get it, along with the other eight requests that are sitting in my In-Box right now.

Have you got your DOA Number?
If you don't, you should. And what are you waiting for? Payday?
It's free. All for the cost of an e-mail and an e-stamp containing the necessary information from the first page of this thread, you can count yourself as a member of one of the finest groups of deviants, malcontents, future felons and individuals that have practice using the line "there's a distinct difference between 'accused' and 'convicted', you know...."
Add the 'DOA' initials to your personal resume, along with SOB, MF and POS. You can't, however, use Ph.D bA, as that already belongs to Billy.
Ready? Aim. Type.
That is all.

Two things...........
1. Bump
2. When you send in your info to sign up, please include your mailing/street address
AND your city
AND your state
AND your ZIP Code.
If you are from outside the USofA, please include all of those pieces as applicable to your country.
As a trivia tidbit, ZIP stands for Zone Improvement Program. There's a freebie for you to use in your next barroom discussion of worthless information.

1. Come over to the DOA thing in America
and 2. Will this number allow me into the DOA-UK if it goes through?

It's actually two questions, but I'm in a benevolent mood today.
1. Yes, it will allow you to attend the DOA Gathering in Tampa FLA
2. There is no DOA-UK, unless some folks have started a sub-group and haven't told the rest of us. It will put you into elite company, as the number of UK folks in the DOA is still a relatively small number.
I'll check the email and get back with you either later this afternoon or tomorrow.

All emails sent to me have been updated to the member list. If you don't have a response, let me know or send your email again.
Don't forget to chech the spamfolder, too.
MegaDroogie206 is signed up with 07-01177, thus making him the first DOA'er from Saudi Arabia.
Michael / mesa8699 is signed up with 07-01179, thus making him the 1200th enrolled DOA member. Another milestone.
BraveDave is still 01-00001, thus retaining his title as King Bonehead.
If you haven't signed up yet, what are you waiting for? A holiday or something? Send it in.
That is all.
Jim
p.s. Enrollment is not restricted to any country. If you live on Earth, you qualify. Texas counts, too. |

To whom did you send it?
I just checked the doa_jim@hotmail.com email address and it wasn't in the ol' InBox.
Please send the necessary info to that email address and I'll take care of it.

Send it to doa_jim@hotmail.com and it'll greatly speed up the process.
I think Dave is currently trekking through the high passes of the Himalayas for a clandestine meeting with the Dalai Lama. Or cruising eBay for vintage ML's and whatnot. One or the other is actually quite probable. |

All replies have been sent.
Folks should either have their brand-spanking-new DOA Number or the necessary enrollment info.
And if you're one of the folks that have meant to sign up but just haven't gotten around to it.............
Go back to page 1, fill in the blanks of the needed information and send it off. Get an 07- number instead of an 08- number. Not that it makes a difference. Especially if 08- is a lucky number or you have bad memories from childhood about 07- for some reason.
Whatever. It just doesn't matter.
Just sign up. It's painless, it's free and you'll be in an elite bunch of degenerates and miscreants.

The InBox is cleaned out for enrollments.
You should have an email from me either giving you your number or asking for necessary additional info.

All emails for enrollment or requesting information on how to enroll (note: see page 1 of this thread....) have been addressed.

You say you haven't signed up yet? What's the deal? Lose the tinfoil hat and send in the info. |

MAB1 armour flame.. Dean is the best guitar I have ever played.
I'm so glad the wings carried me away. |

The InBasket is empty.
Everyone should have their newly-issued numbers or the instrux from page 1 on how to sign up.

Home, cell, work, whatever.
It's just another piece of contact information. You won't get late-night booty calls from me or the "is your refrigerator running?" gag or me yelling STERN RULES and then hanging up real quick.

Please note that I'll update all new DOA registrants on Wednesday, March 4th.
Between now and then, I'm going to be on this thing called a "vacation". I'll catch up when I get back.
Send in your info and be assured that you'll get a response from me in a few days. Thanks.

Very cool site you have, i am very interested in DOA and want to be a full blown member, i have had my Dean Flying V since 1979 # 0001981 and this guitar from day one will do anything i want it to, i make it cry and laugh and play anything i can on it, I have just finished the brand new 14 song release titled "Living the Life of Rock & Roll" and this new release has made some very serious marks in the music world, I have two new songs that will be on the new season II of Kurt Sutter's TV show coming out this sept. 8th Sons Of Anarchy, with songs "Bikers Law" and "Feeling Electric"...
I am so impressed with this Dean guitars so i when and bought two more, I'm sending some attachments for you to look at and hope you injoy them...
Also i sure could use Dean as a great sponcer as we are starting or tour Oct.17th in New York at the Skull Fallfest 2009 and need many more shows so if you have anything you can throw at us it would be awesome... I leave for texas to start rehearsals sept. 17th. I also have a custom made clear Flying V guitar that also kicks ass and if you made one for me i would play it loud and proud.
Thanx JC Berdoo http://www.myspace.com/berdoorocks |
