With the amount of ridonkulous things people are wanting for free, it doesn't matter. This thread has turned to s#%t. |

Hey guys. I'm not going to post anything ridiculous like some of these other posters, but anyone have an ML AT3000 for me? xD
Honestly though, I'm just looking for anything that will "beef up" my current guitar (pickups, a better bridge or nut, a decent bolt on neck, etc). I know it may seem like a joke, but my guitar is a $100-150 Chinese-made Fender Starcaster I got from Best Buy (permission to laugh granted). I don't know if anything will make it sound better, but at this rate I'm never getting the AT3000... Just anything old you have lying around will probably be a Christmas gift to me, haha. |

Does anyone have a minty 1975 Gibson LP Custom, I could really use one.
To the above poster, I got some pups, but they are humbuckers, don't you need single coils for a Starcaster? |

Yes, the Starcaster uses single coils, but I'm not sure if replacing them with humbuckers is totally out of the question. I'll have to ask my local guitar shop if cutting a humbucker-sized hole would be worth it.
I think those stacked humbuckers ones would be best, obviously, but if all I need is a 1-2 inch section gone I'll gladly make it happen. |

I have a single/single/hum pickguard in pearl white off my strat copy. I will put a humbucker in it and send it to you. Check out under your pickguard, the body may already be routed to accept it. If so, it is only a few screws and soldering 2 wires to change it over. PM if you want it. |

I feel bad for even posting this, but does anyone have any electric strings they would be willing to part with? I don't mind what company or gauge they are, I just need new ones and I can't afford them because i've had a very tough time finding employment this year. |

I like the spirit of this thread but must agree with the posters suggesting you need to give before receiving. Similar to a Freecycle model.
I have a new GFS Mean 90 Bridge pickup in gold.
http://www.guitarfetish.com/Mean-90-Gold-Case-Alnico-P90-Fat-and-Strong-Output-_c_133.html
I got it as part of a trade but never got around to using.
It'd be next week at least before I could ship due to general laziness.
If there are multiple takers before then I'll go with the one who has the best planned use. What guitar will you put it in? What pickup will it be paired with if any? |

I have nothing to give, unfortunately, as much as I'd love to return the favor and give away stuff. I have some DVD's for beginners, but I assume the majority of peeps on here have been playing long enough. A question, though... Can one use bridge pickups as neck pickups without any consequence? I mean, would it sounds any different, have any adverse affects, etc?
As much as I want to jump up and ask for it, if anyone else asks for the pup, give it to them as they'll probably get more out of it. At this rate in my 3 year-long career, I'm just looking for pickups to try out. IF I were to obtain this pup, it would be placed into my Fender Starcaster (see my post a few above this) because apparently it's routed for a H-S-H, even though it came with horrid stock single coils. It would be paired with a $70 "blade style" pickup from a Dean Blackbolt that I also acquired from this thread. Might as well have you guys make me a guitar while I'm at it, haha.
Again, please put me on the back burner if someone else wants it. |

Has anyone else asked for that pickup yet? I'll trade you...uh...*looks around room*...
A jar of Planter's Peanuts, a key for a lock (but I need the lock), a couple nickels, some Skittles, half a washcloth, and an unstable stool I made when I was 10. |

If you still have the mini Marshall, check for post to 60098 USA. I will pay it and a few bucks for your trouble. I also have a pack of Gibson 10s laying around that came with a geet I purchased recently. I don't use 10s. Give me your address and they are yours. I will even pay the post. Hit me up and keep it going.
I have a Dean neck humbucker that will need a good home soon. Some others too. and some cheap MIC pots. I will put it up soon. |

I'm doing a school project (a science and technology project) and was wondering if anyone had a cheap guitar they didn't use anymore. It's a big favor, but I would really appreciate being able to use a guitar other than mine, even it is old and beat up, because I really don't want to have to drill into my only guitar. Thanks if yo0u can help. |

Sometimes people have something kicking around they don't need, or someone needs something simple that someone is willing to donate. |

Wow, this thread started as "Post your free stuff", later the "and beg for free s#%t" was added. We may as well just do away with the "Post your free stuff" part, the begging has just taken over.
I know that I've wanted to give some stuff away to people who can actually use it but I'm not interested in tossing it to a bunch of vultures. Perhaps a rule that if someone scores something for free, pron should be posted to show how it was actually used? |

I thought I already gave all my spare stuff away in this thread, but over time more builds up. Here's what I got, to be fair I always go by who sends me a pm first. Sorry USA members only.
A plain black nylon Planet Waves locking strap.
A Levy's black suede guitar strap.
A set of Dean satin nickel covered pups out of my Z DP.
A GFS LP wiring kit with 2 volume and 2 tone pots, plus caps, switch and jack.
Happy New Year! |

Hi all, I dont mean to be a bum and beg for stuff, but I am in desperate need of 2 guitar stands (one for a V) and 2 guitar straps... If anyone has extras I would be grateful. Also I would be happy try to come up with a little cash for shipping. Things are tight right now, but thanks for reading my friends!

If anyone has any old pickup covers (of any colour, really) they could send my way, I'd really, really appreciate it. Pictures of them installed would be assured.
:EDIT: Condition doesn't matter, if that helps. I'll also give the entirety of my fundage on paypal to you - about a dollar fifty. xD |

Anyone have Dean neck? Just a cheap one would do. Got a project coming up.
If I can find it, I have a mint blue Fernandes Vertigo that i'm getting rid of. It's apart, and needs a TOM bridge, but it's all there and has Schaller Strap Locks (no locks lol) |

remind me tonight, i might have one. depends what kind.
also, very petty, but i need 5 screws. alan was kind enough to make me cavity covers for my Z, but I don't have the screws. I know i can get them at HD or something, but unfortunately my driveway is covered in 4 inches of ice and there's no warm weather in site. haven't been able to drive anywhere in 2 weeks |

Ok, I have a rummage.
I'll trade the guitar for a decent floyd rose. Black OR Chrome, no gold. Well... maybe
UK Only, unless you pay the shipping. |
Dude, just make a thread of your own. This one isn't for trades, it's for giving stuff away. |
