I'd like to know what your thoughts are on it in general. Tone...fit and finish etc....
I don't recall any one owning one here on the board.... |

If no one else answers, be sure to let us know about yours when you get one!
It's Christmas time, you deserve it.

so... am I to assume there's not a soul on the board who owns one? I don't remember anyone posting that they bought one. They're quite a few coin more than the standard.... |

You could be the first! Go for it! I gave it some serious thought, but I don't need another leather jacket or a fancy case, so the value just isn't there for me. |

I can tell you from personal experience, the Dean Hardtail Collector's Edition is probably the most perfect non-pointy guitar every built. I played all four earlier this year at the NAMM show. I don't care for the larger neck on the Hardtail, but the Collector's Edition is absolutely amazing. I am still cosidering buy one, but for the life of me, I cannot decide what finish to buy. |

I hope they have one or two at DOA III. I'm assuming it will have a '79 feel at the neck and Hardtail sound/feel of the body. Nice combo, as I'm not personally crazy about the regular Hardtail neck. |
