Inspired by Nightrain's thread! I'm curious as to what guitars you own that you'll never sell or trade. Try to limit your geets! There are only so many that you truly have a personal connection with.
For me - it's these two. The Razorback V Skulls was my first dream guitar, and while she may not get too much play time, she's rare, sounds amazing, and looks gorgeous.
And this.. is the only 7 string Razorback V (I think). Never letting it go, it sounds too amazing.

My CFH, my wife (girlfriend at the time) and her dad bought it for me our first christmas together. Been my #1 ever since. The DOF is actually hers but she never touches it, so I call it mine. Other than that my Rebel, Rhoads, LPC, Mark III... all those I love and would never WANT to sell. If I absolutely had to for whatever reason then I would, but the CFH and DOF always stay. All other gear I've had even if I liked it there just wasn't that click or what made it have huge sentimental value.

To make it simple. All of them. Well except maybe the DOA V, since I have the Schenker Retro now. I get rid of the DOA V, if I can't get Leslie and Michael to John Hancock it. |

I'll never get rid of these:
I don't play the red one too much anymore, but I got that one at a difficult time in my life, and hold on to it to remind me of where I was. It's nice, though. DiMarzio D Activator pups and a sanded neck. The blue Schecter is all stock, but I had the neck sanded down the day I got it.
The CFH and the polka dot V stay because of Randy and Dime. I might not be able to play like them, but I've spent hours butchering their songs since I was 15 years old. |

not really sure who made it... I can tell you it's definitely not a GMW. Found it on ebay for a steal. Supposedly it's made to the exact specs of Randy's, but I can't verify it. Even has problems holding tune like Randy's did. Some locking tuners should solve that, though. It sounds killer, too. I took it to the guy who sets up my stuff and he was amazed when I told him what I paid for it... it was definitely a good snag.
I might bring it to DOA next year, if I can make it down. I'm still trying to find a good hardshell case for it. It came with a crappy gig bag. |

My red Strat. Got it for high school graduation, and haven't really touched my other guitars since. Its starting to look sort of "worn in"... Too many times playing it sloppy drunk. Luckily no dings on the neck or fretboard though |

All or nothing I say. Seriously pretty much all of mine, there are a few I've thought about maybe, but I honestly don't see me getting rid of any and there are a few more about 10 newer acquisitions not included in this photo. I need to update the Family Portrait

I have a 1982 Dean V that was at my guitar tech's shop when he passed away. I was over at the shop the night before discussing with him how I wanted the setup. He seemed to be having trouble getting the neck setup just right. The next night I got a call from the guitar teacher over there that he had kicked the bucket in his easy chair watching tv. He was a good friend, and he was only 50. So i would be hard pressed to sell that one.
I also have one of his personal gigging basses that i got from his sister. I will never sell that one either. i wont even change the strings on that one.
I probably have 40 more guitars that I wouldnt sell for other various reasons too. But that is what came to mind first. |

These 3 1 cos the ML is just too cool to let go. The 2 agiles my wife got me so they stay no matter what.
Then my G&L Comanche. It is my main guitar. The Ibanez in the photo with it is for sale but I have not been pushing it cos it plays like a dream.
A better pic of the ML. If things do not look up for me job wise the razorback will probably have to go. But I don't want to cos I have alot of money in it.

not a production tailpeice or anything, just something i welded up one day. i wanted to have a gretsch cadillac style tailpeice but i couldnt afford 400 bucks for one. so i made one up and changed it to have the ford v8 logo with the cadillac v. ive since painted it gold to kinda look better. |
