Actually, I would say if it HAS a floyd it isn't a true RR, as Randy never used even used a floyd. Wink

I must have a Les Paul. I've wanted one for years but lately that 'want' has turned into a 'must have'.

One of the top rated (and very reputable) dealers is here in Colorado. They have a wall full of Les Pauls. But they don't carry what I'm looking for (a finish beyond the typical sunburst/goldtop/black/natural).

They have what I want on Ebay, but a Les Paul is one of the guitars I'm not comfortable buying without playing first.

An old friend of mine is an exec at Gibson (in the group just below Henry). I wrote him and asked for suggestions. Not sure if I'll hear back, I imagine he's very busy.

Jackson RR1 made of 9 pieces, the wood is very light, neck combined from two parts, this method applies to cheap guitars.. The body is made of 7 pieces. In front and rear maple veneer is applied to mask the joints. In conclusion, is this a $2900 guitar?

Zombie thread alert!

Let's get this going again. I'm craving a USA ML or MHG Soltero. Need to get a new cab as well, probably an Orange 1x12 with a V30. But I do desperately need a USA Dean. Best instrument I've ever laid my hands on, uh-hmm Laughing

Lots of gas, but to keep it short:

Guitar:
Dean thoroughbred in natural gloss

Image

Bass:
G&L M-2000 in transblack and a couple of custom options

and

Dean hillsboro single if I could order a custom one it would be ash in trans white finish or mary kay white, tort guard, maple freatboard, etc. But to inexpensive route, and more likely to hapend, would be buy an import single, and mod for new pick up and preamp, and extra knob.

I was going to add the 2008 40th anniversary natural V but I found this 81 and it is for sale just not in the budget ! Most of the guitars here will make you gas or drool !
I'm liking the 77 explorer

On a serious Gibson kick right now....want a Les Paul and a V. Gonna have to settle for a decent studio though.....ain't got the coin for a standard or custom. Pretty much got it covered with everything else but I could use a Mesa 4X12 to go with the Dual Rec I just scooped up. Cool

Way too much to list.

A forum members Blackstar HT5 if still available when I get some funds.

Several guitars.
But again no funds for any of it so I can wish in one hand and ..... in the other and the wish one will be empty.

As it looks right now I'm probably going to have to forfeit the Water V.

Talked with Todd and the water V is secure. Cool Cool Cool

Been looking at LP's too. Might be placing an order next week for a Moser Siren or I'm gonna start searching for a killer LP Custom.

No end to the gas in sight . I got this email from AMS very good price , not what I'm after not that wouldn't want it but I know a RR Jackson "V" has got my name on it some time in the future. Someone who wants the SG tribute might want to go for this deal !

"Gibson SG Special '60s Tribute Electric Guitar with Gig Bag"
