I played one when I worked at Beatstreet. It's like all the other Deans in that price range (the original price not the blowout price). You'll either love it or hate it. I think it looks neat. I wanted one when they first came out but never got around to grabbing it. |

If you do not mind me adding my 2 Cents in, then my Advice, Save up & get an American Dime!
I said it numerous times and will never stop , that NEW "RUST FROM HELL", after a Good setup is AMAZING! Chk out on my Signature what DIME Guitars I own...That RFH Is juat as good , just made a LOT differently, but me personally I LOVE Sharp V Necks , & this Baby is as Sharp as it Gets!!! You can play a Solo so Fast & it's SO DAMN Comfortable Bro!
If DEAN made more like em' , well they would be joining the Rest of my Aresenal ...Out of the Dean Dime's it really was the only Finish I liked.
I have still yet to play a Asian Dean Model, I need to try one so I can see for myself, cuz I hear Hit or Miss all the time!
Good Luck finding u a GIT-TAR Partner! |

I bought one of the Snakeskin Stealths when they were blown out on Amazon. $399 with case shipping included. At that price point, of course it was a good deal. I always found the tone to be a bit harsh. I ended up trading it for a Carvin DC125, which I in turn traded for a Carvin DC127, which I in turn traded for a Guild Nova, which is not going anywhere, ever
If your budget is around $600, you might be surprised as to what you can get if you look at used guitars. I recently picked up a USA Dean BelAire II for less than $500. I have seen several other non-Dime USAs for under $600. The BelAire I got still had the protective plastic on the pickups, pickguard, and back panels. So it was basically a new guitar for 50+% off. |
