Picked up an American Standard strat this past week off of Craigslist. Oddly enough when I worked at a local guitar store I sold the guitar originally when it was new. When I bought it I didn't look in the case really at all. Just fiddled with the guitar for a bit. So when I got home I looked in the case, and sure enough there was a price tag with my hand writing and initials on it. A swell as a sales receipt for it with me listed as the salesperson. I recall it being in the store, but I think the guy who I sold it had sold or traded after he got. I'm pretty good about recognizing customers even if I don't know them by name. I wanted this guitar when I worked there, but passed on it for a used Les Paul we had come in. Figuring I could just another order one at any time. But we ended up severing ties with Fender. Needless to say I never ordered another one. So I think it's neat how it found its way back to me after about a year and half. It's still in amazing shape, the guy I bought from said he rarely played it, and it was case kept the entire time he had. Still looks new, virtually no buckle rash, no dings, no fretwear, etc...

Fretless guitar, the groves have been filled and everything sanded level with a radius block.

I know right?

It's funny I'm pretty good at drawing, but suck at writing. I know a lot of people who are the other way around.
