Well, unless you're using a 600w power amp and a tuned/ported 15 cab made specifically for guitar, I'd say no, it won't sound the same. I've got one of Corpse's subs at my house right now and it sounds amazing. If you play metal, once you use one, you won't be able to go back. The low end can be a bit much for other types of music, but for metal they absolutely rule! Perfect, tight punchy low end for days. FWIW, the only thing Martin and me have found that sounds close is 2 full Warhead cab stacks at the same time with 4x12 & 2x15 cabs. Even then you don't have the adjustable power that the ISP sub has. |

The Vector 112 has been on my wish list for a while to pair with my 2x12, do they come with a crossover? |

I am of the camp that believes the bass guitarist is the sub. For a bedroom jammer the sub probably owns. |

agreed
plus real soundmen will hate you. lows come from bass not guitar. the last thing you ever want to do is irritate your soundman unless all them suck in your area anyways. lows on bass guitar and too many lows on guitar only equal mud in the mix. |

I was thinking more along the lines of using one on stage for my ears not miced up through the pa.they could just mic my 4/12 for the pa.90 percent of the soundmen in the clubs here have no clue what to do.Hardly ever is it a REAL soundguy ussually the owners son or girlfriend or someone who has no idea how to turn up the monitors ,lol |
