3-Pickup Cadillac!?

3 Pickup Cadillac....Hello Dean Guitar Lovers! Just bought a black Caddy with gold hardware...wondering if that middle pickup may be a bit in the way for strumming? How does $450 with hardshell seem a price would you say? My 10th Caddy...LOVE 'EM! Twisted Evil

I've got lots of guitars with three humbuckers (mostly for the look) and they never get in the way for me.

Is this a USA? I never heard of an import 3 pup Caddy. If it's a USA, you stole it for that price

Yeah you can get triple pickup imports, they are part of the 1980 series and are now discontinued as far as I remember. Seemed to be pretty sweet guitars!!

some ppl lower the center pup abit, but i have never found i needed to and i tead to play over the bridge pup alot anyway resting hand on bridge , congrats too

Beautiful collection! Seems like the 3-Pickup Cadillacs are rarely seen. Two on ebay today: one at $1000, and another at a crazy $5000. It would seem these ought to offer more flexibility in tone, and probably better resale in the future...Any thoughts?

After playing for 4 hours I can say that the middle pickup, at the proper height, is somewhat "in the way" for picking. Tone addition is definitely worth the slight hassle. Who could ever go back to only 2 after you've tasted 3? Twisted Evil

I love the look of three pickup guitars, and have quite a few... but seldom use it for tone.

SAW the USA 3-pickup sell for only $950ish. Seems low. The $5k listing is insane. Help! I just found a mint Select Caddy on the Guitar Center website @$219! With shipping it was $250...yep, bought it. Would probably kill for a Czek Cadillac...it is a sickness, this Dean Cadillac Lust! [i

my favorite wiring for 3 pups is way 96 caddy is 3 volumes 1 tone with
pull up on/off for center pickup

it has 59,59,JB
