I have no idea who he is or if he speaks English at all but I can say he has spent a fair amount of time learning scales and western music. I found this by looking a different pedal effects Some plexi something or other. (Carl Martin Plexi Tone)

Judging from his style and the guitar, and that he's Japanese, I'd say he's a huge Paul Gilbert fan.   Paul is the man and has influenced many players, especially from the orient. |
