Cool! Going here in Toronto next Friday for sure! Hopefully the Thursday as well! I love the Stained Glass V! That was being set-up by Charlie at the Factory at DOA last year! (2011).

My buddies in a band Engine 69 opened for Schenker. Unfortunately I didn't get to go, but I'm sure it was a killer show. I hate that stage though at the concert pub. Especially playing with national acts and having to share the stage with all their equipment behind ours. I have a show with that band tonight, so I'll probably get the whole low-down on the Schenker show.

Wow, he only played the Ying Yang and his old failthful when he played in Ramona. I was hoping he brought out the Kaleidoscope, but he didn't. BTW his Ying Yang took a dump on stage, that's why he used old faithful.

That was a hell of small stage. Years ago (thinking it 2004 or so) Michael toured the venue in San Benardino, and said the promoter was @#%$@!!&. "He didn't have a clue what a MSG show required as far as stage requirements." He then hopped back on his tour bus and took off for the next show. Quite frankly I couldn't blame him. My friend's band was the opener for MSG that night. I didn't stay because I wanted to see MSG, not just a bunch of local bands. In fact I didn't know Enterfear was on the bill till I got to the show.

When Elliott told me where they were playing, I thought the very same thing. The room is a decent size, but the stage is just too small. Apparently Schenker didn't mind the stage. The sound was good and Schenker was as awesome as always. I watched the soundcheck and it was amazing how Schenker can noodle around the 5th-8th frets and play so many cool licks.

I do love the sound at that place. The whole bar is awesome minus that stage. That was a poor plan for a "concert pub." Its very clean and classy in there, and the outdoor area is cool too. In fact the stage is so small that my friends actually used Schenkers cabs and their bass rig so they could have room on stage.

Whats your report DeanSlime396 ?
Since this is the most recent Schenker post I am going to go off topic here.
I recently found a Gibson "V" forum that some guy had kept track of all of Schenkers's "V"'s I have been a fan for a very long time and have had at least 3 autographs back in the day. I even met Schenker in the audience at the whisky a go go at a Judas Priest Show (Stained Class tour)
Anyway this website said he had a natural medalian V only 200 made and then he painted it black before he did the half white half black scheme. I believe this video shows the V in question.

Everyone who has the opportunity should go check it out.

Can't wait to see him again. I have seen him in some small venues and back when he was with UFO. Damn I have seen Micheal Schenker quite a lot Santa Monica Rush and UFO about the time Michael decided to vanish , San Juan Capistrano with special guest Uli Jon Roth , Temecula , Orange show San bernadino.

KK Downing has one of those Medallion Vs too. In fact he claims his old trusty 64 that him and Michael where in a battle to get it from a second hand shop in Birmingham, and KK got it, to Michael's displeasure.

That is interesting , I knew that KK had one. KK is making and or licensing his own headless V now that he has left Priest. Schenker is probably better off with the Dean he has now besides that if I could play as well as either it would be Schenker of course. I always felt Tipton was the real talent in priest.
