I was contacted by a local band yesterday after they'd seen a video of mine on facebook. They're already established with a good reputation and they need a new lead guitarist. Their old guitarist played and EVH Wolfgang and rocked up a lot of the solo's so I know there's some creative wiggle room for me. I've actually seen them play a few times and really enjoyed the gigs. Their bassist plays a 6 string and they have a rhythm guitarist who sings and a drummer leaving me free to wander the fretboard. The only thing that could F it up on me is my job. Having to go away at a moments notice may really screw me here. I'm going to meet the guys this week or next. I'm taking it as a compliment regardless and I'll continue to have fun no matter what the outcome. This is the video I posted that got me noticed. sweet . hope it goes well. maybe the old guy will fill in if you have to go away on the moments notice thing. In RoxxityKrush we had a different bass player at first. He played all the Friday gigs that the other guy couldnt do cause of his job. We just paid him the other guys cut plus some extra for doing the jobs cause he hated the drummer. maybe you can do the same or something.
