managed to find one decent deal this past black friday. decide like most years to stay home all day, then right before the day was done, my girlfriend asked me to come along and help her get a gift for her brother at the local music shop. they never really have anything interesting or good deals ever. this was the exception. my first bass.
ive messed around with 4 strings in the past but i said f it and jumped straight to 6. id been eying up a lower model from this for a while but im thankful i never bought it now. i love it. sounds amazing and plays so effortlessly. blows away my buddy's american fender in every respect but finish.

Nice, I like the white. When I started playing my 6 string bass, I got some hand cramps at first due to the wide neck but got used to it soon. I just can't get used to it weighing 12 pounds, yup, mine is heavy. |

Just under $350 after tax. Thats only $50 more than the one I originally wanted but its much much better. This model is $400. It was on sale for $380 plus an extra 10% off. Its has a really nice pearl in the white that didn't come across in pics. Fortunately my hands gaff taken to the neck just fine. My fingers were another story the first few days. I can't remember the last time I got such horrible blisters haha but they are all good now! |
