Missed Black Dahlia Murder - Thank God!!! i've seen them several times and opened up for them twice.
Machine Head - of course i'm biased, i know them because i toured with them, they stole the show by far and should have been headlining this tour.
All That Remains - never seen them before. Lead guitarist (Oli) has great vibrato, phrasing and note choice on solo's, both guitarists had good solid tone and were using EVH 5150-3 heads. Jeanne the female bass player is a good solid player and a hell of a backup voxist. She can scream death metal, sing harmonies or solo verses...very versitile chick. lead Singer...Jamey Jasta wanna be that can sing clean vox ok at best, total studio singer. Good with the crowd though. I wouldn't pay money to see them again unless it was under $10..
Dethklok - Gene Hoglan rules...rest of it was pure garbage, headed back to Machine Head's Bus and talked to Robb, Phil, Adam and Dave for 2 hours.
yes the midget is my girlfriend...
With McD (Jackson Guitars Head AR Rep
show was badass
Yaking with Robb about surgeries on us both LOL

LOL
He's good people, A cool cat for sure. People were wigging out on us last night. He bumps fists with everybody, I walk up...huge massive bear hug!! He stayed at my house a few days a few years ago as well.
he's also crushed about that prick that stole his 5 guitars and misses his dime guitar that Dime gave him.
I miss touring with those guys!!! |

Sounds like a great time with old friends, can't beat that. I was listening to some Machine Head ealier, definitely essential to have a disc or two in the rotation |

All that remains is a band i listen to all the time but havent seen them live yet. .
Machine head is awesome and puts on a good show. |
ATR is a great live band if you don't listen to Phil trying to sing/scream He has good days and bad days but he's a good performer to watch. His vox can be great one night and garbage the next. Oli is a great player and the rest of the band is solid. I have seen them live but have never stayed for a full set because it wasn't that great to keep my attention. The last time I saw them was with Chimaria and ATR was headlining but Chimaira blew them off the stage. |

machine head rules.
black dahlia is damn good.
dethlok is meh cept gene hoglan rules
ATR i used to really like. but live they arent so impressive. to me they are strickly a protools magic band. Oli is a great player but the rest is just sounds like melodyne autotune and drum superior to me. |
