So it seems like a very very long time ago when I showed up here, and in fact, it really was.
I know I've kinna dropped off the face of the earth as far as this place goes, but life has been really interesting the last 5-6 years.
As some of you know, I got heavily involved in concert photography for a bunch of years.. Toured with The Dead, most of the spinoff bands, and whatnot.
After that, I slowly got involved with festivals like Wakarusa and Harvest fest, shot those for a couple years (and still do). Eventually that lea to me discovering all kinds of little festivals in OK, AR, KS etc., and by then I'd made friends with most of the bands on that circuit.
That slowly led to these guys pulling my ass out of audio retirement, first with recording shows, then with mixing shows, then with getting back into the sound reinforcement business.
This year I provided sound and / or mixed for a whole mess of festivals, including Waka & Yonder Mountain Harvest Fest.
Playing wise? Well lets just say I ended up at Winfield a few years back and it changed everything. I only very occasionally pick up an electric these days, and have spent the last few years playing wise getting back up to speed on fingerpicking on acoustic. I can't remember the last time I fired up an electric. It's been years.
So....
As a result of other stuff going on, it's making sense to downsize, clear out some clutter and whatnot.
Which brings me to why I've crawled out of the woodwork here..
I have a TON of stuff to liquidate. With the exception of HFO, and possibly the Blueburst TC ML and the 25th Caddy and maybe the Hardtail DOA, everything else will be up for grabs.
Off the top of my head this includes:
DOA Guitars from the first one up through the HardTail. All have the same serial #.
USA Exotic Redwood Hardtail
USA Plumburst Hardtail
USA Blue Quilt Hardtail
Select series Z
Additionally I've got a mess of other stuff as well, which includes but is not limited to:
ENGL E570 Preamp
ENGL E580 Preamp
TC Electronic G-Sys processor and foot board
MOTO 828MKII Firewire Interface
Decimator Pro Stereo Rack Mount Noise Reduction
Prosonus StudioLive 16.4.2 (Upgraded to the 24.4.2 recently)
I'm sure I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff, but will flesh that out later.
If ya'll are interested in any of this, lemme know. Any reasonable offer accepted. This stuff really needs to get gone as I'm gonna need the space it takes up shortly.
I figured I'd give you guys first crack at this stuff before I flea bay it, as you guys were around when I acquired it all.
All this stuff is in absolutely stellar condition. Most of the guitars haven't been out of their cases but once or twice to do the TLLL's as they never really did get played much at all.
Cheers!
Mark

So here's some links to some of my TLL's I put up when I got these guys.
Dunno why but I can't find them all here but here's what came up..
Blue Burst Caddy
2007 DOA Hardtail
2008 DOA V
Z Select
2002 MB USA Blue HT
USA TC BB ML
Theres others as well, just can't find em. I would have directed you to my old site, but apple killed the whole .mac thing so I'd have to dig that out and repost it on my other site. If anybody has any questions or wants any pix of any of this stuff lemme know.

Heh.
As far as playing goes? I'm down to my 1973 Alvarez Yairi which a buddy of mine finally did a new fret job on, and a Zager which I recently bought while my Yairi was getting refretted.

Nice to see you still around. I still look for you when Rat Dog or Futher come to the Philly area. I may have to talk to you about that blueburst caddy, as you did snatch it right out of my hands. Or maybe not, as I am in liquidation mode myself at the moment, since I have way too much stuff. We will see when you post it... Nice to see you around. |
