Yes... both the neck and body. EMG 85 in the bridge and an 89 in the neck. Makes for a VERY different sounding Tele  |

Cool, very modern looking, like blackmachine etc.
Once i, inspired by Jim Root, wanted to build tele just like this (but with ebony instead of rosewood). |

Awesome, that's a very nice looking guitar! Thanks for the pics.
I see a lot of Doug's builds over on the MLP forum and I've always wished that I could check one out in person.
Back to the Tele... the neck is clearly birds eye maple with a rosewood fingerboard, but what are the body woods? I may be wrong, but the back looks like mahogany and the top looks a bit like walnut. Close? |
