For the youngsters who never heard of Bill Nelson of Be Bop Deluxe you may or may not like this guitar lesson. I had always liked the original studio version of this song Adventures in a Yorkshire Landscape but the live version has so many beautiful arpeggio's and sustaining notes. I have heard this version many times but until I saw this guy break it down on YT and didn't appreciate all the subtle riffing that goes on and on. The guy playing is quite a character but my hats off to his skill even attempting to play this, enjoy !
Those old whistle stop videos are great. I like everything they did up until Sunburst finish, thats when other bands much heavier starting getting more of my interest.
The thing about this
lesson video is as this guy breaks the song down you really get to see what Bill Nelson is all about even sweeps that are quite subtle. This song on "live in the air age" is quite different from the studio version that is on "axe victim" whatch at about 6. min.
