A dude is selling a vintage modern head. 50W single channel for $900
I'm trying too sell my Randall 4X12XXL cab loaded with V30's for $500
He says he'll trade the vintage modern for $500 cash plus my cab.
I haven't gotten any hits on my cab at all in three weeks and I own a killer Marshall 410H. Should I spend the money and trade the cab. Don't know if I'll use the head having a Marshall 410H but it might be easier to sell or trade.

Yes I would do the trade if flipping it is what you were thinking about. I have had 2 of them and gigged one extensively. It's a great head but no match for the 410 other than it being lighter to carry around, and the tolex looks awesome. But back to the original question, it will be easier to sell than that cabinet. 2244 new at L&M is $1225, so you can likely just sell it back to a shop for more than you paid for it. |

yea I'd do it. heads are easier to ship if you decide to sell it. And no offense to your cab, im sure it rips. In my opinion people are looking for mesa cabs. Its all about the name brand, so it might be difficult to part with the randall cab. I had this conversation with Lanning the other day on facebook. could just be my area but people around here are all about the name status. |
