For the first time in a long time I did not ask for small "gear" items. I've got so much I'm selling a few things, including two great budget guitars, non-Dean. I did get a lot of chocolate, a staple for Wahi', and a 10 inch Incredible Hulk toy to go with The Thing. Now they can fight!

Addendum: Email me if interested in a couple of guitars. They are nice; I'm just thinning.

Two bags of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, a pair of jeans, some deodorant and a gift card for Olive Garden. We focused on making sure all the kids had a good Christmas

They did and I will be paying until July on our credit cards Laughing

I secretly bought myself a vinyl lp test pressing of Goodbye Gemini though, should be coming this week shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh yeah, on a diecast car collector forum that I am a longtime member of (RLOL), my Secret Santa sent me two smoking early Hot Wheels redlines; an anti-freeze colored Custom Cougar from 1968 and a yellow Tri-baby, both are NM

Pic up later if anyone digs the old original Hot Wheels

Funny cuz ,I for some reason have been lookin' up old toys or collectibles I had when I was kiddo & boy ol' boy I wished I would of saved them all, cuz I had TONS! & now they all seem to be going up in Price $$$! That Green color looks like something that would of came stock on a car from the 60's or 70's..

On another note , I got gift cards to Restaurants, Fast Food joints, & of course Guitar Center...Other than that , we actually had a White Christmas here in the DFW area in Texas & it Knocked my Desktop computer out Mad , along with My cable Rolling Eyes ...I am trying to get something on eBay so I gotta do this from my iphone!

The site I belong to has probably the largest group of elite redline collectors on the planet. I have tons of these but never had a antifreeze Cougar. I have seen them sell for up to $1000 in like condition in the last few years. Pretty much depends on quality images and reputation of the seller as there is a lot of restored cars out there. The rarest Cougar is the red one that can sell for $3k and up untoned

That was the problem with these cars, if the base metal was not cleaned well prior to paint application, the cars would "tone" which is darker areas that can look splotchy. With the Customs like the Cougar that had opening hoods, the hoods could end up many shades different in color

Here is a pair of my favorites, Byefocal on a Racer Rig

My parents gave me a new set of KC slimlights for my truck, along with a locking gas cap so people can't siphon my gas again. I was saving this semester though and I got myself a Westin Bull Bar, UWS Tool Box, Cobra Nightwatch CB, and a few other odds and ends for my truck. I was going to start installing stuff today, but we had tornado's in the county and I didn't feel like going out in it. I'm busy most of the rest of the week, but hopefully I can start this weekend.

I bought myself a 4 disk NAS and a media player for Christmas. I got an internal bluray writer for my computer from the wife. Now I can rip all my concert dvd's/blurays to my NAS & watch them on my TV without having to use my compyter.
Also got a Ziltoid puppet from the wife. Got the new Rammstein bluray.
Bought myself a new alarm clock (sony dream machine) so I can get up on time for work Wink
Bought the new ipad mini for my wife (a month ago) but this got delayed until around Jan 10 so she will have to be a little more patient. O and I got Devin Townsend to record a personal Christmas message for my wife and kid when I had a meet n greet with him last week.
We also bought our kid & family some gifts.

Wait till you see what I'm bringing home Friday. It cost me $2500, and it's not a Dean.

Close but a bit lighter on the sunburst, and nice grain pattern.

I don't have a family (wife/kids) so my parents gave me $. Took that and I bought myself a Dime Head.

Always wanted one just to have, but didn't want to pay $399.99. Saw a lot of places were closing them out for $249.99. Tried to order one and cart said "Sorry Item Out Of Stock".

Went to Amazon, they had ONE left and when I added it to the cart it gave me another %15 off, so I got it for $212.

Not bad, I really dig the bottom end, it thumps so F-ing hard. Definitely reminds me of standing in the PIT when Grady would do sound check behind the curtain.

That was it.

Nah, the house is plenty large. And that Orange Micro only takes up a little tiny amount of space. Smile

Got a new Vox VT20+ amp!

Was having a hard time deciding on my 'first' amp, but after hearing it played in the guitar store each time I was in, there was no doubt that I was going to get it. Plus this thing is solid!

There was always someone testing them out out... which I took as a good sign.

Here are some picks:

I have yet to receive my Dean, but it should be here in a few weeks. Can't wait to see how it compare sound-wise to the crappy Squier (that weighs ton) I am using at the moment.

I was very lucky this year. I must've been good or something Laughing

I got:

Gears of War 3, Black Ops 2 and Lego Star Wars Saga for Xbox
A lovely fur trapper hat
Scarf
Car things
Money towards a TV (which I picked up yesterday)
DVD's
Assortment of nuts and some candy from the states

I can't think of everything right now but the most important part for me was being able to treat everyone to gifts this year and spending time with my family.

Northwinds very cool on the Hot Wheels....I have a ton of 70's and 80's Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Corgi's thing is the they were all mine when I was a kid and have been played with and some are pretty rough Sad Which sucks because I have quite a few Redlines, also a few of the Sto-n-go Playsets still in boxes and track with supercharger. I got my son a bunch of the newer ones, he has probably 100+ cars now and he's only 2. Laughing gotta love it.
Pretty much everything was for the little guy so really didn't get anything from family so I treated myself ...
I bought my self a Japanese Boss BF-2 Flanger going to try to get my Le Tekro on..... Wink

Now I need to track down a Boss SD-1.....

Those VOX amps are nice. My Buddy just got those in and they are regularly demoed in the store as well. I run a nice G&L thru the 20+ and it was just awesome sounding. I want the 80+ once I get done with my training at the Job and I start getting overtime. Cool Cool Cool

I was fortunate to have my wife and mother give me some money.....so I made the call to Dean to see if they had the Hillsboro Single bass in Tobaccoburst with maple neck and they did, so I went and picked it up with a case. So I get it home and put a USA pickup in it and find that it has the 3 band EQ, it was wired for vol, bass and treble pots, so I modified the pickguard and added the mid tone pot . Now this inexpensive bass has the upgrades and sounds KILLER too.
Merry Christmas to me.... Smile

Have to admit they are not the prettiest of amps, but they are built to last.

With it being my first amp I wasn't too sure on the wattage to go for, I presumed the 20+ being the lowest would be perfect. Got a shock on Christmas day after realising the potential of this thing.

It can reach 30w, and being in a flat I'm running it around 3-5w. But the quality remains.
