Anyone here own one who knows what the Soltero neck feels like Question

Beefy V under frets 1 to 3..., tapering off to C'ish under frets 12 to 15 Very Happy

This IS a deal breaker for me, that's how I like the guitar neck. My MIK Soltero has it, my FM D333 guitars have it.

Does the 35th anniversary Dean V have it Question

There are 150 of these guitars out there, and I only got to try one out at the Dean factory in Tampa..., that one had the V shape neck, but it felt thin under the 1st to 5th frets and then got beefier towards the 12th and 15th frets.

Was that one an oddball or are they all like that Question

They are cheap'ish on Ebay right now, and I would like to snatch one up Exclamation

I have one. And I had a MIK Soltero. The necks are very similar. But my Soltero was from the first batch, so I can not vouch that the neck is the same that you are talking about. My 35th V has a neck very much like an early Time Capsule, or an 1981 era vintage USA Dean. The V is quite sharp. I dont really think about what frets it tapers off. I just love the neck on it. Hope that helps.
