Honestly,

without diagnosing the problem with what exactly is at fault you're best off taking it to an amp tech. They should be able to find the cause and fix it for you.

i have finally fixed my reverb!!!
i routed the problem back to broken cable in the reberb tank on the head and soldered it back together.

The heads sound is much better now (never knew a faulty reverb tank could hinder the tone that much......or is it me?)

The only problem i have now is that i believe that the reverb is too soft/weak. Are there any mods i can do to the tank to improve this?

Thanks

Get another reverb tank. Pretty much any size will fit in the head. The best reverb tank I ever heard was in a SUNN Beta Lead Combo

I'm not familiar w that amp but I do believe the reverb tank does effect the tone of the amp. Some say it's negligible but to me some amps sound more full w/o the tank.

I use very little reverb. I don't care for it much really.
