Yesterday I finally bought a bigbsy for my project tele, today in the Uni workshop I installed it. It wasn't too hard of a job, only took me about 2 hours.

I should have snapped some progress pics but I was getting into it and going for it. There has been a change in tone and it's a cool little toy to have. I think I'm going to get a red tortoise shell pickguard for this one to make it a bit more classier. Check it out!

I approve. I've got 2 B5 bigsbys and a B7 in my closet that I bought to put on three of my guitars, until I realized if I did that I would have a bigsby on every electric I own. Laughing

Nice job. Thought that the bridge was sitting towards the left a bit, but its just the spacing between the high e and the b is a bit less than it should be, easy fix. Enjoy, I've never played anything with a bigsby but have contemplated putting one on my LP in the past, does it keep its tuning well?

Yeah I've just noticed it is a bit lob sided but yeah I can fix that. It's holding well for now I'll probably replace the tuners it has the old school 50s vibe tuners that aren't that great.

And what you said about the string spacing; that was just due to the saddle not being set up properly, it's all good in that sense now.

That's really cool.

I agree that the pickgaurd doesn't belong with the rest of the package, now. I'd like to see it with the different picckgaurd.

I've been away from the forum for a few weeks, had to go home for some family business.

I got the red tortoise shell pickguard from ebay and for me it really sets the guitar off, the only picture I have so far is a phone pic so it'll have to do until I get round to getting some pics of it with my silverburst tele!
