Hey guys, new here.
I am a guitar teacher based in the UK, one of my lessons has just had passed down to him a Dimebag DFH ML.
Now I understand there are lots of different variants on this guitar. How do I tell if it is a 'DFH CFL' or just simply a 'DFH' (which I am told would be worth much more)
I know theres also an 'RFH' (Rust from hell) which looks slightly different and has a slight rust effect.
Any help that you guys can give would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks |

I think there was a USA limited run series of about 150 for the Rust and DFH models, if it's one of those it will have MADE IN USA stamped on the back of the headstock.
There is also a production run made overseas in Korea/China(/maybe Indonesia?), again country of origin is usually stated on the back of the headstock. Some photo's would help with identifying it, but hope this helps. |

Hi, welcome to the forum!!
If its a DFH CFH (Dean From Hell, Cowboy From Hell), it will be Chinese made. So on the back of the headstock it will say Made in China. The Floyd Rose Bridge will either be a Ping made, Licensed system and will say 'Using Floyd rose patents' or something like that, and wont have the Floyd Rose stamp on the plate opposite to where the Trem bar goes (on the low E side).
Typically they sell new for £650 and resale here in the UK would range from £280 - £400 dependint on condition.
IF its an American guitar, it will have a stamp on the back of the head stock saying for example 50/150, a unique number. Along with a Made In USA stamp somewhere. The American guitar will also have an Original Floyd rose system. Another tale tail sign is that on the paint in the american guitars, the lightning bolt passes to the side of the input jack, where as on the import guitar the lightening bolt passes straight threw the input jack.
There were only 150 american made Dean from Hells, and they are the ones which are known as the DFH. The import guitar is known as the DFH CFH.
I hope that helps |

It is (replica) and all the DFH's have the same Serial # 81 03093, the Rust From Hell all have individual Serial #'s. |
