Hey guys,

I just finished up a new build and thought I'd share it here since a lot of you guys are into this kinda thing.

Some of you may have seen this on Facebook or on another forum.

It's a Goldtop Les Paul, with some additional specs that give it a nice twist.

Please let me know what you think.

Shorty.

Thanks, and yes, I pretty much have a lifetime supply of metallic gold flakes now. Laughing
There is only about a teaspoon of gold flake on this one.

If it is o.k. with Scott I think that I want a 4 String Version of this puppy!!! Cool

Gawd I love it!!!

Also, did you do the Truss Rod Cover from Scratch or just the Engraving? That Little ML of mine will need one created at some point. Now if only I could get the Pictures from my Wife's Apple onto Photobucket!!!

Great work man, that looks amazing! Cool

Wasn't that being built for Stein? Not seen him on here recently.

That is fabulous Shocked and the carve came out way better then I thought it would. With a GT, you can't make a mistake without it being glaringly apparent. I am sure Stein will be pleased!!!!

I would let it naturally age like all my axes. I wouldn't be scarred to play but I wouldn't put it in the freezer and take a sander to it. Shocked

I have it here in my greasy meat-hooks right now. Gonna shoot some video of it and try a better sounding recording with my new interface. Won't load the video's until tomorrow or Wednesday unless they go quicker than I though.

Since Scott left the forum there's no risk of stealing his thunder with a review. I will say that it plays and sounds incredible. I would be fighting Daniel for it if it were not sold. The fit and finish is incredible. I played two Gibson Les Paul Classic this week that had necks that feel like square spuce boards to me. You know, the real hard edges.

This axe is ninja quiet. The Neck pickup is the best I have ever heard. The bridge pickup is super smooth but very cutting. It has all the best qualities of my favorite pickups rolled into one. I can say more later as I'm going to showcase this guitar now.

I have about two hours before Daniel takes the guitar from me after his hockey game.

Yup BKP Holy Divers.

Scott does plan to relic the guitar. Thats what led to Daniel learning how to use nitro. The nitro looks so good he's gonna use it on my explorer build. Its getting cut soon and I'm so excited I've been playing loud and heck all night.

I can say that this LP Gold top is a top notch killer axe. I have about 2 hours time on it now.

What are the additional specs? This thing is sweet, makes me want to either make a LP or get you to make me one! Very nice job.

Looked at 87' Sherwood's youtube page. Man those are all some nice Lesters! Sound clips all sound badass through that JVM too. Man I will own one of those heads eventually. That is my idea of the ultimate tone....Les Paul w/ decent humbuckers through a Marshall....tried and true. So what could one expect to pay for one of those custom geets if you don't mind me askin? You can PM me if you don't wanna post it on the open forum....curious.
