I wanted to ask for your help with identifiyng the serial number of this guitar.
It's 961236
I wanted to discover the birthplace of mah guitar.
Many thanks in advance:)

It's a 1996 Tropical lametop LTD, not a bad looking guitar at all. Probably built somewhere in the Southeast, I don't know who built guitars for Tropical |

huge thanks!
Another question here - how many of these guitars have been produced? (approx)
I was told that it is an almost custom shop, due to Dean havent been making serial guitars by that time. |

AFAIK, USA Dean always had serial numbers. The Tropicals were stamped on the end of the fretboard and the old Dean's behind the headstock
Tropicals are hit and miss, if you get a good one, they are awesome. The 1996's are considered a great year overall |

Sorry, i meant that they had no mass production (serial production) AFAIK, not the serial numbers..
Well, my one seems to be a real good hit, sound's kickass and veeeery comfortable to play.
Also, i was really surprised by it's condition, it's like new and never played, just a few scratches. |
