Gibson SG it had been moded slightly from a bigsby to hard tail but had no issues playing. Date was around 71-77 I think.

it's not to bad if ever get my hands on the new water "V" I had another SG before that one that I let go when I was still in my 20's hence the last one was a replacement. I must say out of all the guitars I have played so far the SG has always felt right. never cared for the newer ones much even new studio's are not to my liking. It's just personal preference I guess. |

The 70s Gibson's have always been "players guitars." They aren't collectible because they weren't made like the ones in the 50s and 60s. But those 70s slim taper necks were sweet. Me it was a guitar of this vintage.
It even came with that Alligator SS case. |

Custom shop Black Beauty would be worth a buck or 2 ?
Some times you have to let go of things to get other things you want. Thats why winning the lottery would be fun. lol
I would have a house full of guitars but I need to learn to play just one lmao
Do you have any pics Lanning ? |

I got it used at my local Gibby dealer. It was near mint but I think it was about $3499, give or take a hundred. |

Far too many to list. Great thing is there's always another great guitar around the corner. I've proven that if nothing else. |

I was just thinking this. I've regretted letting go many guitars.....but hey, that's how I fund new ones!
The only travesty would be running out of new guitars to purchase. |
