I bought this Goth Explorer off Craigslist this past summer. I love the way it play and sounds; however I hate how the finish on it wears. So I decided to cover it in Pennies, because well they're cheap, and we had a lovely ice storm last night that got me the day off work. It added quite a bit weight to it. I'm curious as to what effect it will have on it's tone. Looks pretty cool in person.

Already have most of them on there. Just need to cut some more for the edges. I'm also looking for a suggestion on how to seal it.

Stone effects epoxy would seal it nicely. I used it on my bar top because I have a lot of routed emblems in it an. It leveled right out. Problem is that it will drip down the edges of the guitar making them look questionable.

I probably could make a "dam" out of something to keep just on top of the guitar.
