Hands down one of the top 5 shredders in the world today. It's just ridiculous how accurate he is even when playing live.

It's a shame he isn't more popular than he is right now. He'll get there I reckon, it's just a matter of time.

He has also started his own line of guitars. He had 2 endorsements and decided to go and manufacture his own instrument.

I got turned on to this guy a few years back....I think he was doing a dimebag lesson video or something.

He can play for sure. But there is something about his approach that really leaves me unsatisfied. I don't think I would ever buy a CD from Mr. James

I'm with Tib....my money is on Dannyjoe

the point was to have a good player demoing the product to bring a crowd to their booth which happened. it isnt a concert where you scream and go crazy. its namm. you have to be on somewhat a professional demeanor or get escorted out. I wasnt saying his music he writes is great. just the skill level of his playing. not artistic value. Id agree. this kind of music is a entertaining as watching paint dry. I just appreciate the skill level of his execution. id rather listen to slash play the same scales over an over with myles, axl or scott singing. one can only listen to noodling for so long before it becomes an annoyance.

I think that's just a guitar-player thing. You can always spot the guitarists at a gig; instead of singing along and having fun they're the ones standing rooted to the spot with their arms folded, watching every single move the band guitarist is doing and thinking 'I could do that'. Laughing

if it wasnt for the drum machine, i count tell what was going on. the digital modelers all sounded like bees and flies. it was just nasty digital static. worst guitar tones ever. was cool seeing everyone playing unison though. that bass is brootal.

I know I am guilty of doing that. Friends often think I'm bored, I'm just watching the guitarists.

here is exactly what I do. I used to be really guilty of this exact thing until i realized the shoe didnt fit well when it was happening to me. Anytime live when a guy or a group of guys are just standing there in front of me and looke bored or whispering back and forth and pointing, while playing, I walk over or up to them nod to them "wassup" with a goofy funny face, get overly dramatic and rockstar out (point at the fretboard or make a face like here comes the easy part, here comes the lame part or whatever) anything to break the ice, make them laugh, get them into rocking out instead of standing there. You go to a show to have fun, not to be depressed or too cool for school. people then realize you are a regular dood just trying to do your thing too and you dont have an ego about it. It works everytime. Usually those guys are the ones who talk to you afterwards about your tone, gear, how you did a lick or what they do.
