Furman 4 Repair?

Overloaded it like a moron , instead had it on the Low Input & Not High!!! Mad

Guessing that's what happened when you JAM too LOUD!

Do any companies or Techs Exist that do work on these things?

Thx for any INFO.

Well I guess if you have problems with yours , Just PRAY, & then beat it lightly, like an old 50's Television & your Furman should work again! :lol

Do you have it in a position that will receive a lot of vibrations? You may have shook a tired joint loose in it and when you whacked it, you reconnected the connection again. Its happened to every combo amp I have owned. Eventually I had to go in and perform surgery on them (re solder jointsn and replace electrics that just shook apart).

I had to of knocked something in the right place, all I know is I ordered another one right before I fixed it & now I have 2 , Geez, oh well! It is what it is, that's wild tho. Rolling Eyes

I would think it's either a cold solder joint (easily fixable, just hit every solder point with the tip of a solder gun (using heat sinks where appropriate), or something was touching ground where it shouldn't have, and smacking the unit jarred it clear.

Either way, it's possible that as soon as you move the unit around the problem will re-surface.

Ordering a new one wasn't such a bad idea.
