I took a few. I'm sitting at the gate waiting for my flight home. I'll post them tonight. I didn't take too many since I was busy but I have some from PRS, Parker, Vigier and maybe one or two others. |

I have the feeling that there hasn't been a lot posted as (again, an impression) not a whole lot of interesting new stuff around. |

That's not at all the case. The show is chock full of amazing things. We just don't walk around snapping photos all day lol... It's crazy hectic and you don't even think about photos when you're working as all of us were. Brian had very little time to get around, Brad was chained to the ESP booth and I was either playing or networking. Maybe Dave got a few photos though. It's literally hours and hours of insanity. I think I only brought my camera in the show one day and out of the 8 hours I was on the floor I had about 45 minutes to shoot anything.
Here are the few I shot.
Andrea with her fav from the Dean booth.
Some Vigier stuff.
Some Parkers
A couple of Washburns...
These were AWESOME!
Some PRS Goodness
Andrea with Zakk's tribute to Father Marhshall.
Heavy Devy and I discussing quantum physics...

You kid ? It's been one of thr most interesting years for a long time. Racked Kemper, Ibanez issuing an army of new models, Charvel relaunching the SoCals, Laney rackable head, lots of good stuff at Randall, 7 and 8 string Jacksons, etc etc etc .
Might not be a lot of stuff for the classical oriented guys from Fender or Gibson but for metal guys it's a really good year. |

That Epi coffin guitar looks kind of below 70 IQ type and seeing Washburn make Firebird's is unsettling
Typical NAMM I guess, the good, the bad and the fugly |

I didn't do too much looking around unfortunately but there were some cool guitars. The Vigier booth was awesome. The pics I posted don't do them justice. |

I was crazy busy at this year's NAMM, but I did have plenty of time to walk around and check out gear. Like Lanning, i was more interested in checking out the cool new stuff than snapping photos. Sorry for that. Years ago, I was the one that took lots of photos and posted up every night. But about 5 years ago, other people started taking over that role, so I just stopped doing it. But I guess this year, no one here had the time to do it. Most of my photos this year are of my ESP product, or photos of haning out and doing funny s#%t. I am not sure you would all be interested in those. So I dont have much in the way of gear pron that hasnt already been shown here or elswhere on this board.
It was awesome haning out with Lanning, Andrea, BKW, MAB, Misfitz Kevin, JTF, Brave Dave, and the other DOA brethren that were there. It was a great time for sure. A banner NAMM year.
Manley, you should have come and looked me up at ESP. I could have gotten you a t-shirt or at least some swag. If you were on the line for any of our signings, you definately would have seen me, as working with the artists and the clinicians is what I do there during the show hours.
I will see if I have any photos I can post up later. |

Ok... So since there are complaints of no pictures, I'll start with this:
I have had many people ask me "What the Heck NAMM is" when I tell them I am going. So I took a bunch of non guitar/amp photo's on Saturday just walking around the hall's. Here are a few of them:

Looks like James Brown creator of the Peavey 5150 amp line designed a new amp with Schecter for Synyster Gates called the Hellwin. Wonder what that thing's all abt. |

There's already a thread about it, full of fun. I talked to James for a few minutes about it. He worked hard on it so I won't bash it anymore but I'm not a big A7X fan so I just can't get passed that. There is a US version which is the head and there will be an import combo. |

Had a blast out there, and seeing everyone, but planning was @#%$@!!&. Big shocker lol. Also, got some virus out there that gifted me with some solid bathroom time, but I powered thru it. Definitely need to plan better for next year. I'll get my photos online soon and pop them in here. If you've never been, a. You should go, and b. There's always about 5-10 events going on at the same time all day, every day. It's hectic and crazy, but a total blast. Can't wait to do it again. |
