I just got a Dean From hell CFH from a very cool Forum bro. It has a couple of nicks in the blue paint. Anyone know where to get touch up paint, or what color it is?
I know Dime's was beat to hell, I know that's how the guitar is supposed to look etc. I just want to start out with it all one color and go from there.
Thanks |

could try a auto parts store or auto paint store .. they sell touch up paint and if you bring it with you they can prob match it up.put a light base of color, build up some clear good, wet sand and buff it .. |

There's really only one little spot I want to fix. It's not really that big.

Hey Powerglide350, I may be able to help you to some degree here. I am at the starting phases of making a Frankenstrat build (there will more than likely be numerous threads up in the coming weeks and months), anyway, I have been doing a lot of research into shades of blue, and if you go to this link, there is a guy who is comparing various shades of blue:

Personally, I would try a can of Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Brilliant Blue. It may not be perfect, but it will certainly make the mark less noticeable. Good luck! |

Oh wow, bazzabalboa, That looks pretty close. Yeah, I'm not concerned if it is absolutely perfect, I just don't want to see the grain of the wood anymore lol.
Thanks guys
